Works well, sturdy, affordable
I took a chance on this, and won. It works very well and is really reasonably priced. The picture is of a 1/2" mild steel tube with a 1/16" wall -- the kind of general-purpose metal you can buy at Ace or Home Depot. It bent fairly easily, with some serious force but not at the hernia level, and no kinking or flattening or deforming. Exactly what I was looking for. This will be a great tool for making up welded-steel frames, brackets, luggage racks, etc.Happy camper.

Amazing bender.
I bought a handheld "plier" type bender that did several different diameter tubing, including 3/8" and it was a disaster, so I bought this bender. It's amazing! No comparison to the pliers. The bends are beautiful. It is a bit unwieldy and tends to flop all around, but it is a side effect of the tool design. The design works to give you very nice looking bends. It took a bit to learn how to get the tubing into the hook. It won't go straight in, you have to angle it a certain way. I was using steel 3/8 tubing for a transmission cooler I was adding to my truck. I'd say it came out pretty nice. Highly recommend.

Worked very well for 0.035 wall tubing
Used this to make a series of bends for 3/8" 0.035 wall stainless tubing. It worked great. Never had to do a 90 or 180 bend but i'm sure it would be easy to do.

Manual pipe and tubing bender
This pipe and tubing works well but is a little tricky to use depending on the bending angles required.

It bends well
I used this to bend up some stainless tubing for a hydroboost system on my olf mustang. This tube bender works as well as the fancy ones we have at my work. The only negative is the retaining hook is fixed, where the expensive ones fold over. I had to remove the hook on one complex tube to get it off. Overall, this is a great value tool.

So far so good
Great price for what you get. Benders like this are expensive. They are definitely charging a fair price. I love having the grips on it too, very soft. The leverage is amazing with this as well

Heavy duty enough to bend mild steel tubing
Got this to bend 3/" mild steel tubing for attaching the mount points for the fiberglass body to the chassis for my race car. Works really well and the bender is set up to make the mandrel bends needed. The handle changes positions for a bend radius greater than 90 degrees which is a lifesaver. However, on that moveable handle the pin holding it in fell out on the 3rd bend. Not a huge issue, stake the hole a little bit and press it back in. It's cheap chinese made. The materials and design are sufficient enough to get the job done, just assembly quality issues. Compared to the same thing for upwards of $200, I can make this work. If I did this for a living I would opt for the higher quality tool.
