Tested in a swimming pool and found this floater to function for my weight and body type. I plan to use it in both a pool environment and in both fresh and ocean water habitats. No, I know it's not a life preserver, but it will serve a similar function. I'll test as best I can in preparation.

I love it! I can excercise in deeper water which is better for my knees and there is less strain on my lower back during other excercise moves. I am 62 and the youngest member of the pool yoga/aerobics class.

This is the first pool floatation belt that fits comfortably and stays in place. It’s also an excellent price and great float quality. I couldn’t wait to try it today. So glad I bought this product.

This belt is pretty good, but as a complete beginner in swimming I wouldn't recommend. It keeps my head above water, but just barely, I'm doing a lot of work to tread water or swim even with it. Its very light assistance. I'd also say the sizing is a bit off, I ordered a medium size, and I have it tightened as much as I can, and it still slides up my body. I even found myself wearing it around my lower ribs, just to try and stop it from sliding it up. I wouldn't attempt to practice swimming with it in that location, but for just treading it was fine. Quality appears to be good, and its easy to snap into place.

Used in water aerobics- I love it.

I purchased 3 of these floats for my grandchildren to use in our pool. They worked great for 1 month. Then a clasp broke on one and the belts ripped out on the all 3. You can tell by the pictures they are practically brand new. They only gave a 30 day return. This is poor customer service.

The good news is that it does keep me above the water while water jogging. The bad is that the belt rides up and makes it uncomfortable.

I love this belt. Fits well and a snug fit.
