I assembled and pumped 20 gallons of gas fast caution 90 degree fitting that comes with pump needs a lot of thread tape at least 10 wraps or it will leak instructions say red+ black- what comes on pump is blue +and brown -

It worked 7 months and quit POS, DON'T buy this China knock off junk

Motor quit after pumping only 50 gallons of diesel fuel! Suction pipe broke when it was installed!
Bought the pump for $224 plus tax. First the suction pipe snapped off during installation leaving pipe in the bottom of the tank. Had to but a new pipe and install it. Then I used it to pump only 50 gallons of diesel fuel and it just quit! Checked to be sure it had power. Motor seized up. Less than 3 months after buying this unit and it is past the return period. Tried to find out how to contact the seller of the system to see if they will stand behind it, but no luck so far. I can not recommend anyone to buy this junk! Read all of the complaints about similar problems! Will buy locally from now on and not purchase through Amazon!!!! Very disappointed! Dave R, Salina, Kansas

Faulty components with the pump
Pump itself works good BUT Pipe fittings leak like crazy, the elbow fitting is the wrong thread and does not tighten. The hose has a pin hole in it and leaks fuel like crazy from very first time I tried to use the pump. Hanger hook on nozzle broke off in the 2nd week. And the biggest issue is the fuel pick up pipe keeps coming off and falling inside my tank. Even after I tightened it with a pipe wrench, came off again. Not sure what to do here, I think it’s too heavy and can’t handle the vibration of driving down the road. When it works, it moves fuel fast but so far has only worked 50% of the time. Very frustrated
