The unit arrived quickly and was in fine condition. It went together nicely and has a nice toolbar to hold all the attachments. My last Shopvac lasted over 45 years and I still use it for real dirty work. This unit has the small diameter hose so it is easy to get around in corners and for cleaning the car.

Really like this vacuum. It is well worth the price. Easy to use not cumbersome or too heavy. 60 years old and can handle it with ease. Well made product. Definitely worth the money.

lightweight and easy to use, liked all the attachments. I bought a power head to go with it and it did a great job in my garage.

ShopVac has been the leader in Vacs for as long as they have been out....been buying them for years...this 8 gal vac is relatively small, so not for huge jobs...but smaller means, easier to store, easier to carry, easier to fit in small places, etc.Power is really good for such a small Vac.... comes with dry filter installed and wrap around wet filter, which I cant comment on, as I do know wet vaccing...The wheels are small diameter of course, so hard to get over power cords without lifting up...Universal fitting accessories can be added since ShopVac is the biggest standard out there...the exhaust has a small filter over it... interesting...I would love to see ShopVac have a HEPA filter option we can buy like Rigid does...Overall, at this price point, its a fair value, its a very powerful SMALL vac with the basic accessories, 4.5 stars, recommended....

This vacuum comes with a good assortment of accessories to get you going. Plenty of extension tubes to reach higher up, comes with a good length of hose, a good size internal filter, and a dust bag. It has plenty of suction and operates well, but what got me was that it comes with an exhaust muffler to reduce the noise from the big motor in this thing. The lower casters are also installed much stronger than your typical snap in casters, these slide and lock in, plus require a screw at each to keep it tight. Another thing they got right is that the vacuum lid locks onto the top of the tub with two snap locks that apply tension instead of just relying on the old style plastic saddle clip.My only complaint would be the tool caddie is placed in a goofy location, immediately under the exhaust were you can't make use of the single center hole, not a huge issue, but having that one extra hole available means all of your extensions fit in a slot.

Ordered a big one in hopes the suction would be good for a pool clean out or also the massive amount of dog hairs my dog sheds. I was not very impressed with the suction. Seems my $55 vacuum from Walmart works about the same as this large one.

This isn't a huge unit, so I don't suggest it for high volume jobs like connecting to your woodworking equipment for dusty control (at least not the big machines). The modest size makes it easy to maneuver around your worksite or workshop though. Comes with a good assortment of attachments. Sturdy casters. The combination of a pleated main filter and disposable bags is the way to go IMO. Disposable bags making cleaning it out easy and low mess. Traditional open container styles are a pain to clean out.The included noise muffler is helpful in many situations as well. It is still a loudish machine though even with that in use.
