Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB DDR4 DRAM 3600MHz C18 Memory Kit for DDR4 Systems (CMK8GX4M2B3600C18)

I have been running this kit since 2017 and never had a problem. The low profile design of the heat spreader looks subtle in any case as it melts into the background of your build rather than other brands which use ugly and tacky designs that limit cooler compatibility to appeal to gamers. These sticks wouldn't go over around ~100Mhz above stock specifications even at 1.435 volts so I left them at stock, as 3600Mhz is overkill for my Skylake build anyway. I did successfully undervolt this kit and it has been stable for several years now. Recently, I've been using this pair with another pair of adata watercooled memory (the watercooling is just for looks; it serves no functional purpose) and even then I've never had an issue with either set. I've gotten these to work at advertised speeds on Ryzen as well. Corsair even threw in a ram cooling fan! I never used it because of my choice to use mismatched ram sets but I appreciate the inclusion. For one of the cheapest (maybe even the cheapest, depending on when you buy) kits of memory in it's class, I was decently surprised with the performance. I would much rather have an understated and reliable piece of hardware that is compatible with everything I throw at it than something that sacrifices everyday usability in the name of bleeding edge performance. If you're looking to set overclocking records, look somewhere else. However, if you are looking for a low-maintenance, mid-range piece of hardware, I highly recommend this product. Though I do suggest waiting until Prime Day or Black Friday if you are looking to upgrade!

Already had an 8GB pair of GeIL Dragon DDR4-3600 (17-18-18-38) and wanted to upgrade to 16GB. Grabbed this because it was similar spec'd and was fairly cheap. My GeIL Dragon was being run at DDR4-3733 CL16 at 1.375v.This kit won't do 3666 with CL19 regardless of how much voltage I put through it.Not a big deal as Intel doesn't care as much about RAM timings/speed as AMD, but figure it's worth a mention. Works more than fine at advertised specs so I can't take any stars off.

I may have lucked out can overclock to 4100 if you tighten timings. By far easiest drop in performance for an AMD 2200G/2400G for those that don't want to fiddle and just use stock OC profile with a motherboard that can support it.

Im using the 2x4Gb set of CMK8GX4M2B3600C18 with the Ryzen 5 1600 on the 'MSI B350 PC Mate' motherboard, and its running stable at 3200MHz with the latest motherboard bios. Hope to push it faster when another update arrives as it really speeds up the system and games.

after initially buying the 3000mhz 2x4gb kit of this ram i received one faulty stick, after returning it to amazon i decided to buy the 3600mhz 2x4gb kit as it was a couple of quid extra. Runs at 3333mhz on my ryzen 5 1600x build (latest bios on msi b350 pc mate) haven't tried the full rated 3600mhz xmp setting yet, but so far it's been great. After ryzens awful issues with ram kits/speeds it has really calmed down and you no longer need to pay the premium for am4 tested ram, just check your mobos QVL list and ay presto.
