I came back here to buy another one.I bought my first one about 3 years ago. The Desert Racer has been the best cheap rc car I’ve found so far. I’m in my 60 s and have been in the rc hobby for about a decade now and this little car is still fun. It’s not really upgradable or crazy fast but it’s fast enough and it’s tough as nails. I still use my first one simply because it’s a fun ,no hassle carto drive around my little dead end street. A good choice to get someone into the hobby or anyone really looking for a simple car to drive around without having to tinker with it.Highly recommended . I think I’ll get the red one this time.

Horrible rc car !! Too noisy not even fast enough for the price and the steering column keeps getting stuck !! The battery won’t give more than 10 min of play and to top it all the car won’t even move as something went wrong with rear wheelsSTAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT AND SAVE YOUR MONEY

Kinda cheap

The car stopped working in the first 20 minutes of use.The main gear on the motor is poorly attached and the motor was freely spinning without sending power to the wheels. I roughed up the motor shaft and re-glued the gear back to the motor shaft. The disassembly and reassembly was neither easy or fast (~30+ minutes). It's good for now, hopefully this fix lasts. This is fairly well made, it has a functioning differential which is cool, but I "welded"(superglued) that while I was in there to try to make the car work better in the gravel driveway. It has real rubber tires and a fairly dynamic suspension. The "light bar" does light up.It's a cool toy if it didn't have a fatal flaw
