Replaced the seat on my daughters bike. Has improved the comfort on casual rides greatly.

Like many others, the stock NordicTrack S22i seat is just not too comfortable. I read a lot of reviews and decided on this one - I was a bit worried with some reviews that said it didn't fit. I found that it does fit and is much more comfortable than the stock seat. I think the problem with some that couldn't get it to fit was probably in how it was being installed. I found that first loosening the S22i seat bolt most of the way, then turning the top clamp sideways made it easier to get the seat rails under the top clamp (one side at a time, like the original install directions said). Then - the next problem is that the Xmifer seat rails diverge a bit from front to back (as it is a bigger seat). So - and this is where some may have had a problem getting it to fit - you have to slide the seat back so that the clamp is pretty close to the front of the seat (see my picture). If you do this, then the clamp will fit the seat rails and clamp them down.

Seems like a good bike seat. I would not say it is particularly "oversized" but it's pretty comfortable. Replaced the broken seat on my Electra Townie. Of course, I am a casual rider. For real bicycle enthusiasts it might not be acceptable, but for what I need it is great!

Change out hard small seat for this one. BIG difference. Good cushioning and size.
