This is real Egyptian papyrus made in Egypt. When holding it I can imagine Ramses I reading a report on a scroll made of papyrus just like this. It comes in 20 sheets but I would have paid a little more to get it in one piece so I could make my own scroll.

Great authentic papyrus paper

The papyri is of good quality for the most part. I did notice it started to curl when I painted on it. I only give it 4 stars because the size is a little smaller than advertised. But overall I am content with my purchase.

Cut them in half to do a map-making activity with my students in middle school. Great value and absorbed the water-color paints well.
