I was given the night time version of this hand cream to test through the Vine programme and I was so impressed with the results that I bought this day cream to go with it. The hand cream is nice for daytime use as it doesn't leave my hands sticky and stop me from opening bottles and jars; my hands just feel nourished and softened. My hands have been suffering this winter and this hand cream and it's complementary night hand cream has really helped them to not look so old and cracked.

This comes boxed and feels quite professional, giving it a more special vibe than my usual high street hand cream. It comes in a squeeze tube with flip lid, which I find easy enough to use. You get 124ml, so a reasonable size for hand cream. This is designed to be extra nourishing and to help with signs of ageing. I think thinner skin, wrinkles, lack of plumpness and dryness could all be helped here, though I wouldn’t expect miracles. No product really delivers on those! I find it a pleasant hand cream to use and the ingredients are quite appealing with the mix of macadamia oil, shea butter and Vitamin C. I don’t need too much per application and it absorbs fairly well without too much greasiness. I’ve also had my mum use it as she’s in her 70s and unless it’s wishful thinking, we both think her hands look a bit smoother and it’s still early days of using it. I don’t believe that creams can really turn back the clock but they can help the health of skin and its appearance, which I think this one does and will hopefully do with greater results following more regular use. Skin definitely feels softer. The thing that’s a little disappointing is I’d hoped it’d do more for dryness issues. Areas of dryness, which I have a problem with because of all the hand washing and sanitising, are gradually getting a bit better but the cream hasn’t been hardcore with nourishment in that respect. All in all, I think it’s a lovely hand cream and it can be helpful for the health and appearance of ageing skin, but I’ve found I need something a little more hardcore to treat the dryness on occasion, and then I use the PRAI one as a regular hand cream.
