FlukePRV240FS Proving Unit for T6 Electrical Tester

Glad I got this version of the proving unit with Field Sense testing for FS meters and Volt sticks. Also works with standard multimeters/testers. Works well n seems accurate.

Works for field sense open clamp testers only. No other amp clamp/meter. Boo! Oh it will test your meter via the test leads - read a very, facetious, big deal. This product is a rough draft. Future versions will hopefully be able to check more tools. No one will buy a proving unit for every troubleshooting tool they have. One size needs to fit all or at least come with adapters. Just my 2 cents.

This works great for remote testing for absence of voltage. It allows you to conduct an LDL (live dead live) test where there are no alternate sources of live voltage.

It can even test a pen tester. Switch it to Field Sense mode. Use the Finger Ground, make sure the green light is lit. Touch the pen tester (a Fluke VoltAlert for example) to the Field Sense section. It should light up if good.

Works great but the price like all fluke things make me scratch my head.
