Original Strength Famotidine Tablets, 10 mg, Acid Reducer for Heartburn Relief, 200 Count

We couldn't believe a pill this small could do the job. We both used to use omeprazole and found it wanting...especially the requirement to take it an hour before meals...what a bother. These are much cheaper and work great. Even if you forget to take it before the meal, you can take it while eating...or after...it still works well for both of uss.

And it works like a charm. And the best part is here it's FSA eligible. I have severe acid reflux complicated by bile reflux after I had my gallbladder removed. Famotidine is really the only thing that works well and consistently.The only problem I have is with the size of the pills. They are very, very small and when I am filling my pill box for the week you can be guaranteed that I will drop a pill at some point. I have to be super careful because I do have dogs who will swoop in and eat anything that hits the floor. I know that they're smaller because they don't have all the filler that most pills have which is great, but if you've got dexterity issues with your fingers, you're going to want to be careful.

Honestly this was prescribed for my dog so I don’t know how well it relieves heartburn symptoms for humans. But I will say the tiny size would be easy to swallow and the price is a plus!

I imagine these work but I pitched them because the pills were so incredibly tiny and hard to handle.
