A Funky Yet Soothing Experience
Let me tell you, this cherry seed heating pad is hotter than a summer day in the desert! But don't worry, it's not just for heating up your body - it's like a warm hug from a fuzzy cherry bear. Whether your back feels like it's been attacked by ninjas or your muscles are as tense as a cat in a room full of rocking chairs, this magical pillow bag will make you feel like you're on cloud nine.Just a heads up, though - sometimes it smells a bit funky after heating, like a mix between burnt popcorn and a forgotten gym sock. But hey, a small price to pay for the sweet relief of cherry-seed-heated bliss! Plus, it's reusable, so you can keep using it to soothe your aches and pains whenever you need to.

You should buy this now!!
This is a the BEST heat bag EVER!! I have had corn and rice bags before, in fact I even made them and gave them out for Christmas gifts! The problem is the corn bag is hard to heat and is either too hot or not hot enough. And it gets moist and stinky after a few uses, overly moist and even starts smelling like burnt popcorn which is gross. This bag is light, filled with cherry pits and smells wonderful. When heated, it has a faint, sweet smell of cherry pie! I plan to order another so I can use one to freeze and one to heat. I have planter fasciitis and need to treat it with alternating heat and cold. These work exceptionally well and do not have the stinky and condensation problems other corn or rice filled bags have. Best ever product! It even has a washable cover to keep it clean for years to come! Great invention!

Great alternative heat therapy to synthetic/questionable materials
I have been using this for heat therapy on my neck, shoulders, and lower back a few times a month for the past few months and am overall happy. While I was a little put off by the smell at first (it is really hard to describe), but my wife didn't even notice, and it wasn't overbearing at all. I think it was just me not used to the smell of heated Cherry Seeds. The only other downside I've found that it isn't easy use on your lower back when laying in bed.It works great as lumbar support/warmth while sitting in a chair though! And I love using it as my neck pillow when reading or watching tv in bed. It is a great way to wind down if you've had a stressful day and your neck is punishing you for it.I do wonder if it would be a little more flexible if the cherry seeds were crushed a little? Or maybe not as many were in the pad, so they had a little more room to move and contour. Then again, one of the great feelings is those warm, round seeds massaging your neck as you relax. Maybe there is a way to break them in half?

Great alternative to smelly rice!
After having my first baby, my mother made me a rice sock for ease of use (compared to an electric heating pad) for helping with the tenderness of breastfeeding and the aches and pains in the neck and shoulders also from breastfeeding. I really liked it but was always averted by the smell. For this second pregnancy, I took a chance and purchased this cherry pit alternative and have loved it so far! It does have a slight smell but nothing like the rice and it seems to be less strong the more I use it, or maybe I’ve just gotten used to it. I currently use it for my neck, sore lower abdomen muscles and lower back aches. I like its rigitity versus the rice, but even though it’s a little more stiff, it’s still a nice “pillow”. It stays warm for quite some time, and I like that I am able to fall asleep using it without worrying about it overheating on me. I haven’t used it cold yet, but I’m 100% 5-star satisfied using it just for heat. It’s also worth mentioning that the material it comes in is nice and thick and sturdy. It provides a good barrier between the hot/cold cherry pits and your skin. And it’s definitely a perk that it can be removed easily to be washed.

I should have read more reviews
I wish I read more reviews and into the product details better. If you want this for a very low heat, like maybe a kid is using it, this might work for you. This does not get very hot, and after just now seeing MULTIPLE reviews where this caught on FIRE, I'm not risking overheating by leaving it in longer. Please note you can not fold this pack like other packs can, which can be a problem if you have a small microwave. Two things I don't like, BUT are my own fault for not reading deeply enough into the details are 1. The smell. The smell was an awful surprise, however it IS mentioned in the more indepth description area. 2. I like having weight to my heat packs, and this is incredibly lightweight, which was probably also mentioned in one of the description areas. To end on a positive note: I love that it comes with a removable cover for washing, and that it would probably works well for children or adults that may fall asleep on top of it (where other packs would be toasty hot and potentially burn you.)

Wife loves this.
This microwave heating pad is one of five different types that I have purchased. The one thing that is different about this seems to be the beads or beads that are used inside versus others. It's about a foot long and about 5 to 6 inches wide, my wife loves it it heats up in about two minutes and 40 seconds. We've used it for when you have muscle aches but more or less she uses it at night when she goes to bed and she just wants to hold something warm to help her get her temperature up when it's cold outside. Definitely better than the other ones that I have purchased and I will continue to buy this one if for some reason mine were to break.
