Short, despite ordering up -- "roomier toe box" open to interpretation
I normally wear either 11 or 11.5 shoes. Based on the recommendation in the Q&A, I ordered 11.5. My toes were crammed in both length and width, and I had to return them. When I read "roomier toe box," I didn't expect Keen brand shoe widths, but I certainly expected more room up front than these have.Otherwise, they appear to be very good shoes, well constructed, which I'd expect from Dakine, but their sizing is small. Because of this, I cannot fairly rate the shoes, so just gave them three stars.

A very good MTB flat pedal shoe
I received the Dakine Drift MTB shoes fromAmazon and I immediately went out for a ride. Their fit was very comfortable, and they performed quite well on my first ride. I wear a size 12 US/46 EU in my regular street shoes. But for this MTB shoe I ordered a size 13 US/47 EU in the Dakine Drift because I had tried on a size 12/46 in store, and found them to be too small. I would suggest that anybody order at least one size up for comfort. The soles are super sticky and they grip my 45NRTH Helva flat pedals exceptionally well. I highly recommend the Dakine Drift MTB shoes for anyone who wants a well made MTB shoe at a good price.

Shoes cracked after only 2 ½ months
