This seal is as good as or better than the U.S. name brands at 1/3 the price.I just would prefer that it was slightly thicker.But it is a great substitution, if price is one of your concerns

UPDATE
UPDATE : I was thrilled with these ostomy rings when I first started to purchase them. So much so I subscribed to get them auto delivered. Well after the first dew months they must have changed the formula. They now give off an awful chemical smell as they breaks down that is so pungent you can smell it through the bag with no filter. Not to mention the ring breaks down itself into a weird color. I'm not sure what chemicals are in this thing but it isn't worth the price different. I started to find that the barrier was even irritating my skin instead of protecting it. I bought some hollister rings and had no problems except the price. I'm going to keep my eye ot for other alternatives but this isn't it. Save your money.
