I just received this kitchen tool and have used it several times. I cannot speak to its sturdiness. The build quality seems adequate but nothing to brag about.The angled bladed made quick (really quick) and nearly effortless work of shredding a head of green cabbage in 1/16 " slices, thin-slicing several bags or radishes and a pound of carrots. I cleaned it just as easily, folded it up and slipped it into a small space in a cabinet. OOH! I comes with a pair of cut-proof gloves whiich I used!

This is a good mandolin. It's sharp and easy to use. Good that it comes with a pair of gloves, it is sharp!

I love it! This is the third mandolin I’ve owned and it’s the best, by far.

This is an awful product. Not user friendly and the instructions for use are not useful. The blade doesn’t lie flat so one side slices thicker than other. No photos. The material is not sturdy either. Does include a pair of gloves and a cleaning brush. Not very efficient for uniform slices sinc one side of blade is higher than the other.

Not wide enough for large onions.
