Great compact garment rack
I bought this to use to display my crochet items at sales and events. I don’t load it up with very heavy stuff, so I can’t speak to how much weight it can hold. But it folds and unfolds relatively easily and is a nice height where folks can browse through my wares. It just lives in my tote bag that I take to every sale. I will say the carrying bag broke the first time I used it, but that’s not a deal breaker for me, so long as the rack itself works fine. I could definitely see this being handy for a stylist on a guerrilla photo shoot, or for a wedding or formal event where you need to have garments hung up. It folds up pretty small.

Portable for dance & travel
Okay, I was in a big rush to find a portable clothing rack for my dancer. She has multiple costumes and space is always limited or costumes mixed up. One of her last shows almost ended in disaster as she didn't have a place to hang her costumes and another dancer spilled coffee on my daughter's costumes.Since she has a show coming up, I was desperate to buy a rack for her. This metal rack set me back almost $40! I'm not convinced just yet that it's worth that much money.Time will tell and if it doesn't hold up I'll be sure to update this review. The rack came in a reusable pouch as did four folding plastic hangers and two travel bags. The hangers are cute and fold out to hold larger sizes. As you can see from my photo with the coat, the rack won't accommodate long garments. The coat is a women's coat that's about hip length. I had the legs of the rack fully extended, too.Set up was quick and easy and no tools are required. You do have to pull with force to extend the legs fully. I wish the legs as well as the top bar had the metal tips that you push in and they click into place for adjustments, but it's not made that way. I am afraid over time the legs will eventually give out and no longer stay extended. But we'll see.My daughter has four costumes which will fit easily on the rack. Now, it only holds a little over 8 pounds so you definitely can't overload it with clothes.I plan to use this rack when we travel as well. We never seem to have enough room to hang garments in a hotel. I also look forward to having a place to hang wet swimwear to dry when we're vacationing at the beach.Again, I'm not sure yet on the long term durability of this garment rack. With its expensive price tag ($40 was a lot in my opinion, but less than a new dance bag with garment rack attached), it had better last for more than a few uses.

Convenient!
This is easy to assemble and the height is just right. The legs can get a bit tough to fully extend, but not impossible. I've been looking for a super lightweight and portable clothes rack and this fits the bill.

TRASH.
The rack is too small but it is my fault for not measuring. when this breaks i will get a regular rolling rack, they’re better imo. it does the job.UPDATE:i used it for the first time and it is now broken DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. IT IS POOR QUALITY AND TIPS OVER EASILY. TRASH. if i could give it zero i would.

While a great idea, the finished project, may not yet be ready for prime time
I just received the Ligtchser Portable Travel Garment Rack, and I'm still on the fence.I will open this by mentioning, that was an actor, that I've in the past done a good bit of background work in film and tv, and as a background performer, unless its a period piece or they are dressing you, you usually have to bring your own wardrobe, multiple options and they pick and choose. And at the gig, there isn't much room to hang your clothes…so this item was right up my alley, and something I had been looking for… and so I figured, lets take a chance…No complaints on the opening up part of it, as some expressed in their reviews. Especially once you get the hang of it., I like the lightness of it, and it didnt feel that heavy considering you would be adding it to the weight of your suitcase or suit bag… once opened it looked good, but…getting it to stand balanced wasn't easy at all. And then hanging items on the rack, to make sure the rack stays balanced again wasn't easy. With each addition, or subtraction, it was almost like wrangling a child. So far, I tested the rack with a suit bag filled 1 jacket, a suit, and shirt. and a separate, jacket on a hanger, plus a coat… to see how much it could handle.Honestly I found the item, a bit flimsy and worry how long the clothes would hang before the rack would topple over by a breeze.Other than that, I'm gonna give the item a chance to really use it to discover if it was worth my money.Perhaps you need to revise the item, adding weights to the base or something that match the white parts that hold the rods together… . And since your device is so compact, the additional 'feet/base could fix my concern…or at least balance it a bit better… just a suggestion

Not bad at all
I got this bad boy for yard sale because I wanted to hang some clothes for sale and did not have too much space in my car for something bulky. And it worked really well! Be prepared that this thing is not very stable on uneven surfaces and if you put really too much weight on it, but the possibility to carry it in a small bag that's definitely a good profit! Now I think I can also use it for travels because it will take a very little space in a bag, but I would be able to put all my clothes on it if I need.

Great Space Saver
1st of all, this item is pretty pricey. Also the telescoping legs are very tight, and the material is on the thin side. I feel like I could break it at any time, so I am careful when extending and collapsing the legs. On the good side, it is perfect for our small condo. It fits in its little bag and we hang it in the coat closet. So, a little flimsy, but does exactly what we need it to do. Glad we have it.

Doesn’t do what it needs to do.
We bought this for dance costumes. My daughter only needs to have 4 costumes on a rack at a time & that’s about all this can handle. (Child size medium.)If it gets bumped, it tumbles over. When it falls. The legs collapse, shifting the costumes… and ultimately having the rack fall over.Save your money and choose another option.

Exactly what it should be
Tight tension on the legs. Stays up even with heavier loads
