H&S Cedar Wood Shoe Tree Wooden Shoe Stretcher Shaper

I've never owned shoe trees before but bought some nice shoes and decided it was time.Pros: look good, smell great, nice fit into shoes (tight squeeze, but that's the point), much cheaper than othersCons: arrived with a dent in the wood, looks like manufacturing defect but has no effect on function, knob fell off as the thread was stripped but I repaired this with some wood glue - it's now solid.You could spend more money on shoe trees (and I might try out a more expensive set in the future) but these are more than good enough.

I have several of these and on the whole they're great. The only problem is that the small internal screws which attach the metal connections to the front and back parts of the shoe tree keep coming loose. Easily remedied, but could have been avoided by the use of a bit of Loctite.

Good quality, and value, would recommend.
