Finally I can replicate what I had in Italy!
Visited Italy for the first time this past summer and fell in love with the culture of sipping espresso instead of pounds of lattes and cold brews. Not that there's anything truly wrong with either... but once you have a nice espresso in Italy it changes the game. I saw these moka pots for sale in the Venice airport but didn't know what they were truly for at the time.Months later, I wanted to be able to create espresso-like coffee without an expensive machine. Why not a moka pot? This one is made in Italy and the Italians have been drinking coffee through these things for many decades.Out of the box, the paint job was perfect and I didn't see any deformities. The aluminum seems very consistent though I did need to rinse it out and clean it prior to the first use. So far I am very impressed --- I used a generic Italian coffee blend for a fantastic first batch. The second I used local dark beans. The key is to follow the instructions via Bialetti or a good source. You want to make sure you fill correctly with cold water below the safety valve, that your coffee grinds fill the holder but aren't packed, and then as soon as you hear it rumbling to turn off the heat and rinse the bottom with cold water to stop the percolation process (which prevents the coffee extraction from being way too bitter). I didn't do the last step quite right but now that I am aware it is vastly improved. For $40, you get a well Italian-made little coffee pot that is damn close to great casual espresso. I highly recommend this thing if you're curious. I've paid more for way crappier drip coffee makers full of plastic. Get yourself this fine fellow and a few little espresso cups and enjoy!

The Moka Pot makes the best coffee!
My love for the Moka pot began as we traveled around Sicily so I could not resist buying this version for my husband as a momento. The Moka pot makes the most delicious coffee- yes we put coffee in it! It comes out smooth and flavorful. It’s such a well designed pot! Highly recommend! 🇮🇹❤️❤️

Superior design
I have used many different moka pots in my time, but this is the best one I've had in my 55 years. The water chamber has a lot of weight to it and heats evenly. The system is so flawless that it brews the coffee without a sound. The first moka I've ever owned that didn't spit or hiss while brewing. In the past, I've had to find the sweet spot when I'm working with a new pot, but this one gave me a perfect cup from the start. I feel like I will have it for years due to its sturdy design and workmanship. Highly recommend, this moka pot for any coffee lover.

Best coffee ever
This will be better than any other coffee you make at home. It’s well worth the extra time it takes. Theres zero plastic which was important to me. And the design with the Italian flag is really cute as well. We bought the induction plate to help distribute the heat evenly and balance better on the gas cook top.
