Yummmmmm!!
Delicious! Great Quality! What a punch of flavor from a little can! Of course beings it is Campbell's I didn't expect it to be bad. This can of soup can definitely amp up the flavor in your dish tho. I HIGHLY recommend slow cooking your beef or chicken in it. Perfect ingredients. taste and texture! Thank me later!

Whether it be Baked French Onion Soup or I add this to Beef Stews & Game Stews. No complaints at all.

Can’t find anywhere! Love it for substitution of other cream soups
I love this and can no longer find it at Walmart. I’ve searched high and low for this to use in cauliflower casserole. I finally found it here for a decent price. Love the flavor and would be very versatile in lots of recipes. My kids don’t like cream of mushroom soup very well so I substitute it for that sometimes. It’s normal size of Campbell’s condensed soup.

French Onion "Condiment"
Calling Campbell's line of condensed soups "soup" is a disservice, on multiple levels. These days, these familiar red and white labeled, metal cans provide more options as recipe additions, rather than as standalone soup. French Onion is a perfect example. It has the basic ingredients, but no pizzazz. Onions and beef broth, but no wine. However, added to a savory dish, it adds an oniony "wow" factor that would take hours to duplicate, if you started with raw onions.

NOT WORTH THE MONEY, THE TIME OR THE ADDITONS TO MAKE IT PALATABLE. READ ADDITIONAL REVIEW
I'm a Bonified Boomer (December 1946). i grew on Cambell's Soups (mom was not a good cook) I really like how Campbell's is bringing new flavors and textures to market. My favorite right now is the Cream of Onion Soup. Lacks salt and pepper, and I do add dried tarragon and thyme for to nice boost and celery salt for flavor, but a hearty soup for a winter evening. Add grilled cheese or ham & cheese and the aromas are mouth-watering. Additional review: Campbell's, when you get it right, it's spot on. But, as much as I wanted to love the French Onion Soup I just can't. No salt (I added about 1 1/2 tablespoons kosher), no pepper (1 tablespoon coarse ground), minimal onions and almost impossible to find any onion flavor (I added 3 to 4 tablespoons granulated onion to help boost the flavor. It seems to be a pot of beef broth with maybe 1/8 onion (not sauteed or caramelized), and zero herbs or spices. To say I'm dissatisfied is a gross understatement. For a company with your reputation, SHAME ON YOU ALL!

Delicious French onion soup from Campbell’s!!
After all the money I’ve spent over the years of my adult life, on fancy restaurant French onion soup… I finally found THIS?!! Honest, this soup is actually crazy delicious, I opened up a can, threw it in a pot, (noted a massive amount of onions), heated it up, then poured it over a hunk of stale French bread. Added a slice of mozzarella and a little Parmesan… and it truly was comparable to some of the better restaurants I’ve had quality French onion soup in. Amazon’s subscriber & save program brought the price down further by a few cents. Overall, for right around $2.00 total I had a bowl of soup I could definitely compare with $10 and more in restaurants. Will definitely be buying this again!
