Brabantia New Icon Step Trash Can (0.8 Gal / Matt Black) Soft Closing Kitchen Garbage/Recycling Can with Removable Bucket

I purchased the Brabantia Icon for my bedroom. It is the perfect size for a bedside or bedside table top. I like to place it on top of my bedside overnight because the foot pedal acts as a hand pedal when it’s elevated. The other reason I purchased this item knowingly from Germany is the design. It comes in many colors to adapt to your decor. I have a baby blue, red and now matte black one for each bedroom. I am completely satisfied.

Okay not everybody gets excited about a trash can. But after becoming bored with stainless steel I happened to find these and realized they match everything in my house. I bought two different sizes both in the blue green and when they arrived I was concerned the top was dimpled but I was able to push it out from the inside of the lid and realize it's sort of like having a new car ... it's tragic when there is that first scratch happens but then the pressure is off! These are also metal so I am expecting they will last the rest of my life. I do wish it made a thin rectangular one did I could use in a limited clearance space adjacent to a door. One can always hope!

Love the look and the soft close. This can is small but sturdy and does not flip or slide around when you step on the pedal.

The Brabantia trash cans are built to last! High quality, silent close, sturdy removable bin. I have one in white and the other is metallic mint. One is under the kitchen sink for kitchen scraps that are to be composted. The other is for scooping out the liter box. They're great!

Good quality. Comes with a few bin bags which is a nice touch.

Recently had our en suite renovated and I wanted a small, compact but nice looking soft close bin. This one is perfect. First Brabantia bin I've bought and it's definitely worth the extra money you pay compared to buying just a standard, cheap bin. I highly recommend this and I love the various colours it comes in. I bought the one in metallic mint and it's really nice

We use this for all kitchen non recyclable items. The soft close lid means it does not frighten the pets whose bowls are nearby. The inner bin has 2 hand holds making it easy to remove to replace the plastic liner bag when it is full. Whilst the Brabantia plastic disposable liners are great, they are costly so choose a good quality supermarket own brand liner to suit. The pedal has soft action and the lid opens easily with no clanking. Make sure it has enough space to allow the lid to open fully. Don't be tempted to stamp on the pedal. The colours are diverse and there is bound to be one to suit most customers. Ours goes well with the natural stone floor.

very stylish for a bin. Small and does the job in the bathroom. A big improvement on my previous Swedish cheapo from you-know-where. Just wish the bags were cheaper.
