Great Cupcake Kit!
Cute cupcake kit. Looks fun! No mess. Giving to neice. Great value. I added a book called, “Maddie’s Perfect Cupcake” to go with it. Book is adorable with a recipe on back. Neice is named Madison. .

Doesn’t stick.
Kids have been playing with this since Christmas. Doesn’t stick to anything and has not dried out even tho it is sitting out all night and day. Better than Playdoh or slime.

Bought for kindergarten activity but not allowed
Very cute. My daughter really enjoyed playing with it. The plan was for class party but school policy didn't allow for activity. She still plays with cupcake holders with play doh since the original material got hard and unmanageable after a while. We usually kept it in ziploc bag.

My daughter enjoys it.
My daughter is close to 3yrs old, and really enjoys playing with play foam. And this cupcake set it is a fun way to play. She hasn't really followed the example cards, but plays in her own way with all of her stuff animals. This is a total hit.

Grandson approved
My two grandsons (ages 4 and 2) LOVED this play foam set! It kept them engaged for well over an hour and there were actual tears when it was time to put it away. They loved making cupcakes and other shapes and letters. When asked their Pros and Cons (because Nonni is a vine reviewer so we know the lingo): We love this stuff its so fun, it's soft and the candles and flags are great! (yes the little candles and flags were a huge hit!) When asked about cons I got NOTHING is bad we like everything! Since my husband was the one who actually got to do play time with this I asked him were there any cons to this that you saw? NO THEY LOVED IT! Not one thing was a negative. Way easier to clean up than play dough! (this coming from the man that has NEVER cleaned up any thing much less play dough, but I have to agree the clean up was extremely easier than playdough) We played cupcake shop, orders were being called in left and right. I guess I am going to get more as our cupcake shop is busy! I did put the foam in ziplocks to keep them from drying out. I can't comment on how long before or when or if it will dry out. Haven't had it long enough yet but hoping the ziplock keeps it from doing so.

fun little crafty set
I will be a bit repetitive with these, as I ordered several of them in various themes for the kids in my life while they are over visiting with friends and family. This kit is one of the more inclusive kits, including little cupcake cups, flags and candles, as well as a set of card for guiding the kids in matching the designs. It comes with 5 colors of foam, just enough of each to do one "cupcake". The key here is guided play, to prevent the foams from all becoming one big brown mixed up blob. Great toy for teaching attention to detail, color recognition, and pattern recognition. Everything seems to be pretty safe and on the up and up. The foams are a bit coarse in terms of texture, and can be hard to shape into smooth figures, but the kids seem to pick up the techniques and methods to get what they are shaping to come out well pretty naturally. Odd smelling stuff, nothing bad, just odd. The kids dont seem to mind.

Fun for 2-6 year olds
My daughter had enjoyed playfoam since she was 2.5. Now 3.5, she really enjoyed this set and played with her 6 year old sibling. There is enough for 2 kids to play together and have fun making up games with the pattern cards and different colors of foam, cupcake liners, candles and flags. We have had playfoam that we kept in a plastic bag that was still playable two years later. They do start to get a bit dry and more messy as they dry out a little - individual balls of foam are more likely to end up on the floor or table here and there. Fresh foam (new to 6 months) is most fun and moldable, but you could definitely keep using it for a couple years if you want.
