Artful Skwish Wooden Baby Rattle and Motor Skill Activity Toy for Infants and Toddlers

The Manhattan Toy Artful Skwish Wooden Baby Rattle is great because it’s made of wood, not plastic, which I really like. It’s a fun little brain-building toy for the baby, makes interesting sounds, and seems sturdy and well-built. A simple, safe, and entertaining toy for little ones.

I bought this for my niece when she was around three/four months and she took to it immediately. I purchased other toys but this one was her absolute favorite and it kept her entertained for long stretches at a time. She was working on her grip and this was easy for her to hold on her own. It is super lightweight. When she rotates it the wooden beads in the middle move and hit the end bead things and it makes a light sound that she enjoys. It flattens depending on how its squished. She also is chewing on the ends. I would think the wooden balls on the ends would hurt but she loves it so it probably soothes her gums. The quality of the toy is also great because she is now eight months and the toy shows no signs of wear and tear. At this point she doesn't really play with it, but it might interest again when she gets a bit older.

The quality of this is so great! The toy itself is well made and the strings are stretchy, so it is a key to collapse if your kiddo falls on it (prevents injury). Pretty entertaining and makes a pleasant sound!

So beautiful, and our baby loves this toy! It is light enough that I don't worry about it hurting the baby whenever he smacks himself in the face with it. He likes sucking on the knobs and just looking at it. It seems well built and may last for the rest of our children. Would recommend!

This was a great find! Immediately caught the baby’s attention, it was one of the first toys we tried with our newborn, she will soon be 3 months old and she can still watch it for about 10 minutes non-stop. It makes a pleasant quiet sound and is not overwhelming. It also looks good and stylish on the Baby shelf. Now she is working on holding it, and it’s really easy to grab. The adults like it too, when they visit they also spend quite a bit of time studying it too.

Great natural toy for our 3 month old son who was born a month early and is a little behind in his motor skills. This is lightweight enough and thin enough pieces that he can easily reach and grasp it on his own. The 'rattle' noise is mild and pleasant, good minimal sensory for kids who dont like loud toys. The toy is aesthetically beautiful and we wont mind it taking up space in our living room for many years unlike most plastic junk i cant wait to not see. This toy is visually arresting enough it could sit on a shelf like a little modern piece of art. Disclaimer its a large toy for really little ones, our son did wack himself in the eyes with it during his first use or two. Not the worst con but something to be watchful for. Trying to keep our eyeballs intact over here lol.

This toy is the bomb dot com. My 5 month old loves it and it's big enough that she is able to get it for herself in the car seat. We went on a trip recently and I over loaded the diaper bag and it compressed down beautifully and popped right back when I set it free without issue. I bought one for my new baby niece and the parents seemed to like it, also. This is currently my favorite toy for my daughter's age and my 3 year old son even enjoys playing with it with her. It does come with a lot of writing printed on one of the sticks so I'm not convinced this is a legit toy and not a knock off, but if it is a knock off it's excellent quality.

We absolutely love this Artful Skwish toy. Great for rattle and teether! Bought it when my baby was 7 months old, and it quickly became a favorite. The lightweight design with the strings makes it easy to grab, and the gentle sound when shaken keeps little ones engaged. We also love that it’s collapsible when pressed, adding to the fun sensory experience, more importantly it’s safe, won’t break as the strings are stretchy. We chose the artful wooden version for its classic colour look, and it’s held up beautifully, even as a deco at home! A great buy and a perfect gift for little ones! Highly recommend.
