Thick crystal for durability
I ordered this with a birthday giftcard;I've been on the hunt for a crystal wine decanter for a while now. I saw this one, liked the shape and that it came with a cleaning wand. I've not used it yet, but I took it out of the package and liked the lines. The crystal is thicker than I expected, and I do wish the bottom dimple was a bit more pronounced so to better help my wine breathe.For my first decanter, I'm happy with it and look forward to using it soon!

Perfect for any red wine drinker!
My sister in law and brother in law have recently started getting into drinking red wine. Every red wine drinker needs a decanter, so we decided to get them one for a Christmas gift. I must say that I am quite impressed with this decanter. We have a couple ourselves, as my family are big wine drinkers. This decanter is as nice as the super expensive one's my step dad has given us. It is made of high quality glass. I also LOVE the brush it came with and am even thinking of keeping that for myself (I know, so wrong). I have never seen a decanter come with a brush but it is brilliant! Decanter's are so hard to clean, especially if you leave it over night the sediment starts to stick!Can't wait to see their faces when they open this on Christmas morning!

Great decanter for the price.
We have used it twice with mixed results. Initially we decanted a bottle & left it for only 45 minutes. Then we tried it again (different wine) and left it for 1.5 hours with better results. Easy to clean with provided brush. One “minor” issue is with the sharp edge on the pouring spout...it’s so sharp that it could cause a cut to someone not paying attention.
