Works great
This freezer tape is great. It sticks to all my containers, mostly zip bags and various sizes of the Reditainer plastic tubs. I've not had any problems with the tape coming off when I don't want it to, but it's very easy to peel off once you need to wash a container. The tape core is a non-standard size, and the roll is larger than regular desk tape. I looked high and low for any sort of insert that would fit this roll, but in the end I decided to try out the Tartan Tabletop Tape Dispenser which comes with a 1" and 3" core insert. The freezer tape fits on the 1" core (there's extra room, but the core holder stays in just fine), and the roll fits down in the cavity. It works great, and it's very convenient for prepping bulk batches of food or quickly packing away leftovers.

Very practical! Works extremely well.
I ordered this tape for labeling freezer items because I couldn't find it locally. It sticks fully, in & out of the freezer, but when done, it's easy to remove. It does not fall off in the freezer. It's perfect for labeling on both paper, canning jars, and all freezer storage containers. When I label jars or containers with it, I cut it, write info on the label, then roll under 1 edge about 1/8", making a mini grip for easy removal. I love this freezer tape & highly recommend it!

Great freezer tape
I reordered this because it stays attached when put into the refrigerator or freezer.

Suits My Needs
Since I mainly use this just to label freezer containers and bags it suits my needs. Although this tape states it adheres to paper, plastic wrap, and aluminum foil for tight, moisture-resistant seal, I have found there are only a few surfaces it adheres well to.It does well with some paper, plastic food containers and on freezer bags but not so much with the plastic wrap I use or butcher paper and a real no-go on aluminum foil.If you are only labeling items this tape is fine, but, I do not think I would count on this to aid in a tight moisture resistant seal of any kind.I do like that it never leaves a sticky residue when removed, you can make your label any size and that this tape tears easily but only permanent fine point markers seem to work for writing anything on it.

Works perfectly if you put the tape on in the first place
I don't try to label things that were already in the freezer or refrigerator - I label only when food containers are dry, before the leftovers have been put in the fridge/freezer. (I use Gladware containers, if you're wondering.) I'm a procrastinator, so I cannot put off the labeling until later or I'll never ever do it.Using it as I use it, before the containers go into the fridge/freezer, this freezer tape will STICK and it's never come loose on me. I've even forgotten about the tape being on the Gladware lids and put them in the top rack of the dishwasher and after being washed with all that hot water and detergent, the label will still be stuck fast on the lid. However, when I deliberately pull the tape off, it comes off cleanly without leaving sticky residue behind. This freezer tape works as it should, and I'm happy as a clam.My grandparents and parents used this sort of freezer tape when I was a kid but I never knew what it was called... now I know, and I'm happy I have it in my kitchen drawer. I use ultra-fine tip Sharpies to write on the tape, works great, and the Sharpie ink stays on through the dishwasher too. =)

Great tape for labeling all kinds of containers, frozen or not.
I used a lot of containers to organize things, especially when it comes to food. All the dry food, wet food, fresh, frozen, leftovers, all in containers. For years, I use regular Avery white address labels for containers simply because I always have them on hand. But the regular Avery address labels are really difficult to come off, especially after they get wet either after washing, or after defrosting. Other times the regular address labels refuse to stick to containers after they're frozen. I saw the Scotch Freezer Tape on Amazon and decided to try it.The scotch freezer tape is great for containers, in the refrigerator, freezer, or any container really. They stick well to glass, plastic, metal, plastic bags, and even foil to a certain degree. They do not come off after frozen. Yet they're easy to peel off. I use regular Sharpie marker on the tape, and the writing does not transfer, does not smelt. The tape and writing pretty stay until I peel them off. There is 1000 inch of tape in the roll. Because it's not precut, I can cut off a small section for small labels, or a very long one for a large box with details notes. However, the tape is not as neat as precut address labels. It's also beige (like masking take), not white. Sp the neat stack of containers are not as neat after using this label. But I'd rather have rough cut edges than label residue.

Stick very well
I bought this tape because of the price point and I am very happy with my purchase. The tape adheres well to my freezer containers. I even forgot to label a container until it was fully frozen and I took it out, dried off the top and labeled it with this tape. It's still in the freezer and the label is still in place. They remove very easily when needed. A good product at a good price. I would recommend that you fold one edge down for ease of grip when removing and also on the roll itself so you can find the end of the roll.
