I started using this fabric softener because I wanted to cut down on plastic waste, and I’m honestly really glad I did. The refill system and bottle collection is a big plus for me. It actually feels like a proper sustainable setup rather than just being labelled “eco,” which makes it easy to stick with. As for how it works — it does exactly what I want. My clothes come out soft, smell fresh, and don’t have that weird sticky or waxy feel that some fabric softeners leave behind. The scent is light and clean, not overpowering at all, which I much prefer. I’ve also got sensitive skin and usually notice pretty quickly if a laundry product doesn’t agree with me, but I’ve had no irritation whatsoever using this. Everything feels clean and comfortable, even on bedding and everyday clothes. Overall, it’s been a positive switch. If you’re looking for a fabric softener that’s gentle, smells nice without being too strong, and is genuinely better for the environment, I’d definitely recommend giving this one a try. I’ve used other Miniml products and have never had any issues with any of them!

I’ve tried just about every laundry product (eco and conventional) on the market and this, along with the matching laundry liquid, is the best smelling and performing out of all them. Smells like a high end, gender neutral fragrance, and cleans as well if not better than other mainstream brands. Clothes come out lovely and soft with a delicate fragrance. I’ll be buying the larger 5ltr drums in the future. I like that the ingredients are well sourced and 99% natural hypoallergenic.

I like the product, it smells nice, is cruelty free. You do have to use a bit more then say fairy but it’s a repeat buy for me.

I love this fabric conditioner and one of the best things about it is that the fragrance is not overwhelming. Miniml team - please don't change this! The market is saturated with hyper-fragranced products that you can smell on people's clothes from a distance and the fragrance lingers in your home after they've left. This is not what all customers want. Please don't be tempted to go down that path. This lightly fragranced fabric softener works well, leaves a very pleasant and subtle fragrance without a strong smell like so many others. I like the eco-credentials, the packaging, the closed loop, and the refill sizes. Have bought several times and will purchase again. Thank you :)

After researching the dangerous and toxic chemicals in laundry detergents and conditioners, I became determined to convince my family to switch over to a safer, more natural fabric conditioner. I've spent hours looking into various brands and products, but I was always put off by the reviews. I don’t mind paying a higher price for something that works, but natural options never seemed to deliver. Having seen mixed reviews for this Miniml eco fabric conditioner, I decided to give it a try, and sadly, I’m in two minds about it. The product has many positives, starting with its eco-friendly and vegan credentials. The fact that it’s cruelty-free and made with natural ingredients is a big plus, especially for those with sensitive skin or allergies. The packaging is also commendable, featuring a minimalistic design with a 5-litre refill that’s practical for reducing plastic waste. Delivery was swift, and the overall service was excellent. However, when it comes to performance, the product doesn’t quite hit the mark. The fragrance smells lovely in the bottle, a fresh linen scent that I was eager to have on my clothes. Unfortunately, once the laundry was done, the scent barely lingered. I had to use a lot more product than usual to even notice a hint of fragrance on my clothes, which is disappointing considering the price and the 250 washes it promises. As for softness, the results were underwhelming. My clothes felt slightly softer, but not noticeably more so than if I hadn’t used any conditioner at all. The product is also quite watery, which made me question its effectiveness and value for money. Additionally, I noticed that after a week of storing freshly laundered bedding, a slight musty smell appeared, something I’ve never experienced with other fabric conditioners. In terms of value for money, the price would be fantastic if the product performed well, but unfortunately, it doesn’t. While I commend Miniml’s effort to create a natural and eco-friendly fabric conditioner, it simply isn’t effective enough. It’s disappointing because I genuinely wanted to love this product, as it ticks all the right boxes, but unfortunately, it falls short of expectations. This is much nicer than the linen scented one which just left my washing smelling unclean. Washes well but is quite thin and watery. Huge 5L tub but lasts a good couple of months for a family of 5 including all the rewashes where I’ve gotten to take the washing out 🙄🙈. I bought pumps to make sure of the bottle size and use an old cap for measurements. Two pumps is enough for both for a 9L washing machine.

Perfect size for large families and a natural product. I used pumps to make easy use rather than putting into smaller containers.

I really wanted to try the newly released scent. It smells really nice even after it's been dried on the line. You don't need to use too much of it either. I love Miniml as a brand and their ethos. All of their stuff is made in the UK and plant based. It's good value too if you buy the large 5L bottles.
