Works great on my CNC cut flags
These hangers work great for my CNC cut flags. They are easy to install and hold more than enough weight for my projects. The look good and do not push the flag plaque away from the wall. I like the thin design. They fit well for flags drone 24-36”.

Cleat Craftsmanship
I'm really impressed with these cleats. They are precisely milled and close to aircraft grade aluminum. Maybe more drilled holes than anyone really needs, but whatever. Bottomline is that if you respect the 90 lb. rating and you attach these cleats intelligently, your art/mirror should be safe and stay 100% horizontal unless there's some big earthquake. (Choose cleats made from alloy metals if you need to hang really heavy stuff) My cleats will be used for for some old wood frame mirrors that weigh a good 40 pounds seach so I want to fasten the wall side cleats to studs. (Trust me: don't opt for dry wall hangers if you value whatever you need to hang because drywall started getting sheer sketchy about 25 years ago.) Anyway, because of the 17" width you can easily secure the ends of one of the cleat pairs to 2 studs behind your drywall (per building code studs, except at room corners studs fall 16" o.c. apart). Use the knuckle-knock method to find your studs. You will notice a hollow sound where there is space and a more solid thud the closer you are to the stud center. Then just put a small pencil mark at those spots and you are good to drill. Use a lower speed for drilling through that 1/2' or so of drywall. You can notch up the speed once you hit your stud. And yeah yeah I know, like my wife says, I should be making youtube videos.

Brackets
Quality bracket, but the anchors I decided to switch them out for much more secure anchors . Very lightweight.

Very nice strong support for hanging heavy things to a wall
This is the first time we ever used a French cleat. We bought two mirrors for the bathroom, and we wanted them to hang close to the wall, straight and level. There is a video of how to install this product, but it doesn't go into the measuring part. The first mirror we put up we used a large level that we had here at the house, this was a mistake. The little level that comes with the kit is the best one to use. When you hang up the first cleat to the wall, and you attach the first screw, usually in the middle, the large level is too heavy and causes the cleat to move. On the second mirror we used the small level and it's so light it doesn't cause any movement. We got a better job the 2nd mirror. Very nice product and it included the hollow wall screws and all hardware needed for the hanging job. Highly recommend this product.
