Steamer worked better than described. We are using this steamer to keep our 4c curls hydrated. Steam treatments and deep conditioning go a long way in maintaining natural curls. We have begun using the steam to refresh the curls instead of spraying water in the morning and the difference is night and day. The steamer emits steam for plenty of time to be able to hydrate and style the hair with plenty of water remaining to cleanse the face and wipe down the mirror! The process is so simple - simply remove the water plug, fill with distilled water, replace the plug, and turn the steamer on. The steam nozzle is fully adjustable and does not require any hands to operate. It will stand on any flat surface allowing you to keep your hands free for styling or cleansing. The steamer includes facial tools, a spa facial towel, essential oil pads if you would like to do aroma therapy, and a case to hold the tools. The whole kit is what you would expect to see at the aesthetician’s chair. Very excited to keep using it.

Originally got this steamer for facial care, but ended up using it while I was sick—and it made a huge difference. I added a few drops of mint and lavender essential oils, and the steam really helped clear my sinuses and relax my chest. The steamer itself works great. But the headband has a stain on it!

I couldn’t be more disappointed in this steamer. I bought it about six months ago. When it arrived I ran some distilled water and a tad of white vinegar through it before my first use. I have only ever used distilled water in it. I always clean it the best that I can after use, and I do everything possible to get the chamber dried out. However, I noticed that the inside chamber never fully does dry out. I wanted to use it yesterday, and something inside caught my eye. There was black mold in it. I had a feeling that was going to happen. I tried everything I even put isopropyl alcohol in it and swished it around for a long time. The mold will not come out. I now have to throw away my six month old 60$ steamer. So unfortunate that they couldn’t have made a more sanitary unit. I do not recommend buying this steamer.

This facial steamer is great.You have lots of steam coming out, and takes about 6 min for the steam to start.
