Works great, but fades in direct sunlight.
These work very well at deterring carpenter bees and hornets. My only complaint is they have faded from the original tan to a green color.This would of been a 5/5 star rating had they coated them with some kinda UV resistant clear coat… or if the instructions recommend clear coating them to maintain original color.

Wasps didn’t care, but it makes a pretty lantern
After wasps built a nest right next to it, we repurposed them as la terns with led string lights. Very pretty

Seems to Work
This really does seem to discourage wasps from building nests in areas where you put it, although it won't scare them away from existing nests. It is also a cool looking decoration.
