This is my second purchase of this brand and type of equipment. I was very pleased with my first purchase and that goes the same for this one as well. I find that this is much better than renting equipment each time you need it. However, you will need a high pressure air compressor or hand pump to fill the bottles yourself

This thing is honestly pretty amazing! After filling it with air, I was able to stay underwater for quite a while! This thing is small and compact, easy to throw in the car and take with you anywhere!

I got this as a fun thing to do on vacation to florida, the tank itself is really easy to figure out and use as someone who has never dived before, with a full tank I got about 8 minutes underwater, which was still really cool. I used the manual pump to fill the tank, which took quite a while, If you continuously pumped it without stopping it would probably take about 1 and a half hours, but it's a workout. I highly suggest you also buy a weight belt because wearing this tank made me float, also if you have the money, buy an air compressor.

This product looks really nice and I was excited to use it, however my local dive shop refused to fill it due to the risks of it breaking underwater, and, not meeting the right amount of time (they said it's closer to 4-5 minutes). The bottle didn't have the correct accreditation for diving in the US (likely falsified because it's Chinese made) and the dive shop I went to had customers complain that the valve blows off on this exact model. They suggested I order 'Spare Air' as an alternative that they'd fill and is safe.—————————————————————Updated 11/17/2023I contacted Amazon back in May explaining the situation. Amazon apologized and said it's completely against their policy to allow sellers to manipulate reviews. Yet even after providing them with the email exchange I had wit the vendor (the vendor shared a screen shot showing another customer of theirs who took the money to delete their negative review), and Amazon keeps this product up. I even explained the dangers in the US with this product, but they still keep this product up for sale!—————————————————————Updated 11/5/2023I’ve tried updating my review multiple times explaining my experience with Amazon on this matter (a vendor of theirs contacting me directly about a negative review), but Amazon won’t post my review of their handling. Thing thing is so much fun. The only takes like 15-20 min to fill from the compressor which is faster than O thought it would take.It works really good, gauge and everything fell good quality and sturdy. I would recommend and definitely looking to get a second take now!Highly recommend.

The product is not perfect but has potential.The main issue is that, if you fill it from the air tank using adapter, you can fill it up only once.Next time if you fill it from the same tank, you can only fill 3/4. Then next time you can only fill half.I think it is related to pressure in the air tank. Only a full air tank will fill it up in full. So if you took an air tank with you and thinking you're going to reuse it to fill it up, forget it. It won't work.The other issue is that it does not give you 15 min downtime as advertised. I tried with full tank, calm, in shallow water and I get max 10 min.

My son is thrilled with the system he purchased. As a certified diver, he finds the SMACO scuba tank to be the perfect system, which allows him to alternate between snorkeling and longer underwater treasure searching while in shallow water. Due to the tank O2 capacity it is not intended for long term underwater diving, but it does allow a treasure hunter to stay on the bottom long enough to utilize a metal detector or search an area more thoroughly.Highly recommend for anyone certified in diving in areas bulky tank systems are not needed.***however, you will need to rent a tank if you plan to utilize the system longer then 10min. (he leaves the O2 tank on dry land and refills when he returns from searching or attaches it to a paddle board) This method is easier then the "bike pump" style refill system and less expensive then the "electrical pump".Novice diver beware - you Can Not use just any system to refill the tank. It must be a refill system that is specifically designed to refill O2 tanks. (common household bike pumps and air compressors are dangerous)

Bottom time even at 10 feet is about 6 minutes for a full size adult diver(Certified PADI diver for 30 years)Photos in description shows this tank can be brought on your plane.......TSA removed this tank from my luggage (yes, the tank was empty). Could be a great tank if you just want a few minutes of diving....

Dieses Tauchset ist gut verarbeitet und funktioniert wie es soll. Die Tasche eignet sich aber nur bedingt für den Transport mit montierter 1. Stufe, da die Flasche dann quer in die Tasche gelegt werden muss. Das Set ist relativ neutral unter Wasser. Zusätzliche Gewichte waren nicht notwendig. Das Set eignet sich vollständig für einen kurzen Tauchgang, ist aber nur Personen zu empfehlen, die einen entsprechenden Tauchschein besitzen. Man könnte damit auch tief tauchen, doch der Luftvorrat ist bei dieser Flaschengröße sehr begrenzt.

Funktioniert ohne Probleme, die angegebene Zeit von bis zu 20min hat gepasst. Mühevoll ist nur das aufpumpen von Hand
