Avohass is kinda awesome...
I love Avohass products...I still haven’t been able to give up pan frying a lot of my foods and I know avocado oil has a high smoke point and won’t turn into liquid cancer like coconut or olive oil when heated past their smoke points! :) It’s got beautiful flavor and you don’t need much! I gave this product 5 stars...but I will say I don’t taste much of the chili flavor...I get a brief smell of it when it’s cooking but other than that it has the same flavor as the original oil. (But to be fair I also lovveeee spicy so, it could just be me—won’t stop me from buying it though)

non-bruised fruit and cold pressed like this product* is one of the healthiest things we ...
This product is without peer (and I have the cred to make such a declaration, growing up alongside organic avocado groves in Southern California). I adore the pure extra virgin, but will admit: during one of the company's major sales advertising their infused oils, I decided to give them a go. The company claimed they were "excellent" but I was skeptical. They were exquisite, let me tell you.I see that most people agree with me, and have given this product glowing praise and the five starts it justly merits. The only complaint I observe is that the avocados themselves are sourced from Kenya or, at times, New Zealand. I too was troubled by this and decided to call the company and ask - after all, my parents have organic avocado groves in California, and I wondered why this Hollywood-based company didn't source there. Well, the owner of the company - one of the nicest guys I've ever talked to in my life - proceeded to have a thirty minute conversation with me about his decision to source from Kenya (the cost in southern California is prohibitive and the supply has decreased as ranchers sell their lands to developers - the land in Kenya is and has always been organic, and nary a drop of pesticides have entered the soil there). Our conversation ranged from topical applications, pesticides and USDA organic certification standards, the global demand and changing geography of avocados, and so on. I learned so much about this company and this man and longtime partners with whom he founded the company. I can't imagine supporting a competitor - and neither can my parents.Kudos to this company for its commitment to organics, cold pressing, and using only high-quality and un-bruised fruits. Kudos to this company for its overall commitment to excellence and customer service. I am convinced that avocado oil *made from organic, non-bruised fruit and cold pressed like this product* is one of the healthiest things we can consume as humans. But I'm equally convinced that the world would be a better place if we had more companies, and business owners, like Avohass.

good flavor, poorly made cap
The flavor is very good. The avocado oil is pretty flavorful by itself, plus they added some chili oil so it has some heat to it, too. It works great for dipping and for drizzling. it should work for frying, too, because of the high smoke point for the oil, but I wouldn't want to waste such flavorful oil on frying. The thing that is bothering me is the foil cap design. I ordered five different flavored bottles of the oil, and two of them had defective foil caps that were hard to open, and now they would not close. I think they need to pay a bit more attention to the cap design, especially for such expensive and flavorful oil.

Bleh, it’s paprika flavored
I thought it would be hot chili oil butIt doesn’t have much flavor, it just tastes like avocado oil mixed with a tiny bit of paprika.

Add the flavor of chili peppers to your cooking
I like the flavor - avocado oil with chili pepper. I like to combine it with the one with garlic on occasion for a blend of garlic and spicy chili pepper. Love the combo in my chili recipe on a cool night. It also adds flavor to salad dressings, marinades, and pretty much anything you cook in it. It is a bit pricey compared to some oils but then it's healthier, too. It's hard to put a price on good health.
