Only used once so far but I can say it smells good and blends into my skin quickly so I didn't feel greasy. What I don't like is how hard it is to scoop out. Very hard. It melts well rubbed between hands, but hard to get it out of jarHere is an update. My lips and nose were raw from a cold I have. Usually I will use vaseline overnight but this time I used the cocoa butter. First, it soaked in quickly so I didn't feel greasy all night; and second the next morning there were no raw or painful areas. It worked great

I put this brand in a Lip Balm recipe I found on the internet. It smells like chocolate. I added a little peppermint essential oil and have a wonderful Chocolate Mint Lip Balm. This Cocoa Butter is hard, so you have to scape it but it melts easy. Cocoa Butter is wonderful on your skin too. It's great in a Lip Balm.

Smells really great and excited about using it. I was concerned that the top was broken when I received it. How will I keep it fresh if the lid is broken? You really need to make sure these lids are free from breaking

I bought this for DIY hair products for my natural 3c curly hair. I will be making hair butter and probably using some in my bi weekly hot oil (ahem, butter) treatment. The first thing I noticed when I opened this is how AMAZING it smells. It strongly smells like dark chocolate, and it is a very firm butter but when rubbed between your fingers melts beautifully. Absorbs wonderfully into the skin and retains the cocoa smell. I love this. I was hesitant at first as I've never really enjoyed the scent of cocoa butter products but those products must have been heavily processed and scented because this stuff is amazing I will be ordering more. I also ordered the Mango Butter and am excited to use both products.

I was looking for a cocoa butter that did not contain petroleum products or mineral oil, etc. and this product was exactly what I wanted. It smells wonderful, and a little goes a long way making it a reasonable price as well. It is hard in consistency so you just have to scrape up a little from the jar and work it between your fingers then apply to the area of your skin. Sometimes I add a drop of pure vitamin E oil and work that into it which is also nice and healthy.

It is has Butter-like consistency. Not as smooth as cream, but I feel this is probably more pure in ingredients-wide. Smells like chocolate, good enough to eat.But it came with broken lid. Replacement lid is needed

It was just too hard and didn't soften easily enough for what I wanted it for.

I recently stopped using lotion on my skin and I'm now going for ointments and oils &co, and so I thought raw cocoa butter would be nice, and it is. The only problem, though slight is that the product is hard as rock. I have to melt it in the microwave every morning before applying it. The fragrance is pleasant as well but I won't be purchasing again though. Nobody has time for that every morning.Edit 2: I threw the damn thing out. I'm going back to Palmers product. I understand that this is in its raw form, but as something that is to be used on the skin, the company ought to think of a way to make it more [workable]. People are trying to use microwave less and now I gotta apply something I melt using a microwave on my skin every morning? I don't even heat my foods in a microwave. What Tf was I thinking?
