I absolutely love this dog gate. For the price it is an amazing deal. I have a healer who is absolutely insane in the car and she refuses to stay in the back of my CRV. She jumps up to the back and front seats and jumps back-and-forth like a psychopath. This leads to slobber and hair absolutely everywhere and I just bought a new car and refused to have it covered in dog hair. So I went on Amazon to find a product that was affordable yet effective. I will admit initially looking at it the instructions were a little bit hard to understand which I noticed was the major complaint among other buyers, but honestly After a couple minutes it was pretty easy to figure out how it goes together. I have a 2003 Honda CRV and it fits perfectly in my vehicle. My dog is not a pusher or a tour and so as long as the space where she could fit through to the front is blocked she doesn’t try and wiggle through so I’m not sure if you have a dog who likes to force their way through how sturdy it will be but it works for me. after a couple minutes it was pretty easy to figure out how it goes together. I bought this to keep my dog and his shed hair confined to the very back of my SUV. I have a 2018 Toyota RAV4. It was super simple to install and it has held up extremely well!I installed it by myself in about 15 minutes, but if you have a partner working with you, you could probably install it in half the time. Our 65 pound lab was kept well confined with this in place. I also really loved that it did not block my view at all with my rearview mirror. The dog also liked that he could still see us.I now don't have to deal with attaching and un-attaching the seat cover over my back seat for my dog, and he and all of his shed hair is confined to the far back cargo area with a Weathertech mat in place, so it is super easy to keep my vehicle clean now. I give this product a 10/10!

Installed on a 2002 Toyota 4Runner. Fits well. Small gaps around the edges when installed in it's most expanded position but not enough to matter. My dog can't even get her paw through the gap. Only complaint is the mounting hardware is plastic. If you have a dog who like to chew on things, don't expect these parts to last very long. My dog is a chewer and she's destroyed the knobs you use to tighten the hooks to the headrests. It still stays on fine but I'll have a really hard time taking them off if I ever need to.
