The file cabinet is 15" and I received 18". I haven't decided what to do the the rails that I ordered.

Just a reminder that you have to cut them to size. This is both good and bad...I didn't have cutters strong enough at work, so I was not able to use them. I feel they would have worked great, but you need the right equipment to cut them- pliers or wire cutters won't do it.

Like the quick delivery, but NO instruction sheet inside the pack to assemble?

These file holders are 3 inches too long for any standard files to fit them. Waste of money.

There is nothing too complicated about this. It works exactly as it should and is made of high-quality material.

The edge rails that fit over the sides of the drawer are pretty good. They were a bit wide for my drawers, but I fastened them down with a few screws. The clips to hold the cross rails are OK. The cross rails are entirely unacceptable cheap plastic that bend under the weight of files, causing the how system to collapse. I bought a 1/2" flat steel bar at Home Depot for $13.22 and cut it to length for the cross rails. That is working very well. I would recommend a system that comes with steel rails, but I could not find one on Amazon.

This was perfect for my purpose! My file cabinet was missing a rail, this fit perfectly over the sides and the cross bar was easily adjusted to the correct size. (I used a scissors to "score" the correct snap spot. Basically just started cutting and then it easily snapped on that spot)
