Del Monte Canned Fresh Cut Blue Lake French Style Green Beans

I can’t find this style of corn where I live. Ordered it October 31st and received it yesterday (November 25). Of the 24 cans I ordered, only 8 were undamaged. Four of the cans were dented ones that can be used. But the other 12 cans are so badly dented on the seams that they are unusable. The dents had to be in the cans before it was packaged. The boxes (2 boxes taped together) show no damage at all. There is no way the cans were damaged during shipment. For this, I paid over $36 - $3 per usable can.

Creamed corn is hard to find where we live. We were excited to be able to order online. The product itself is wonder. The taste is still the same as when we were younger. The problem lays with the packaging. It was shipped in its regular box which is very thin. Needless to say, 80% of our cans were dented. The post office had to re-tape the box to keep the contents in.. Its sad that some people just don't care to do their jobs well, after all, it's just a job.

The product seems to be fine but some cans were badly crushed (15%) mixed with good ones. I guess I will find out as I open each. If I wanted damaged cans our super market offers large discounts for them.
