I used this tape to put a hot line at the top of my physical fence. It was very easy to install, has held up wonderfully, and is very effective at keeping my horses off of the fence. I am very happy with this purchase and would buy this product again.

I've been using this brand of electric tape for three years, and it's still in great shape. The wind and rain will stretch it out, and I just adjust the tape accordingly.

I usually buy the 1/2" tape, being on a budget. This is a far better value and i get WAY more tape for the same price I've been paying!! I much prefer this slightly wider tape for increased visibility. I don't see a need to go wider (more expensive) as this stuff is doing a great job of keeping my yard hippos from grazing over the fence. I'll be buying this from now on to replace my old electric polytape. Super happy!

Horses respect it and it’s easy to put up.

There are two very good reasons to get his fencing tape: 1- It's highly visible, which helps keep humans from making contact 2- With the six stainless steel strands woven through the tape, even though they are small in diameter, it provides a good kick in the butt when you do make contact. The horses were used to seeing the standard heavy gauge wire around the acreage and thought nothing of this "new tape" till one of them made the mistake of rubbing up against one of the insulators on a pole to scratch a shoulder. Let's just say it was a cough cough, a shocking experience. While this is wide, it can be folded over and slipped into a standard insulator or, as some of the new portable pole designs are made, it can slip right into the tape-specific slots. We have the greater part of the acreage covered with standard wire but wanted to do a test. Judging by the result mentioned above, it looks like we'll set up the remainder of the acres (about 4) with this tape. The roll does come with 500 meters of tape, which is a lot, and the pricing is pretty good. 👀 My only concern is with the plastic fibre; I have to wonder how well they will do in direct sunlight and whether or not UV will cause them to start falling apart in a year or two. The seller's description does mention protection against UV, but I have seen this on many other garden-related items and discovered that the UV protection was not as good as one would expect for products that remain outside all year round. As I write this review, the roll is selling for $94.99 or 19 cents per meter.

This is a good investment for securing animals. It seems well made as the the colored wires are visible and cattle will be safe. I love the material it is made with as this will not rust easily. The polytape is lightweight and stretches to a length of 1640feet. Overall, a great investment for securing livestock.
