4.4mm Male to 2.5mm Balanced Female Headphones Adapter for 2.5mm 4-Pole Cable Connected to 4.4mm Player Device, Aluminum Alloy Conversion Audio Plug, Gold Plated

I needed to pick up a 4.4 to 2.5 adapter for a pair of IEMs that I didn't have a custom cable for. I also didn't want to break the bank with a ddHiFi adapter or anything else pricey. The adapter comes packaged in a nice fabric pouch. I did test, and can confirm this IS balanced at both ends, so it does its job. The adapter is a little large all things considered, but the metal feels quality. No problems with fitment on either end. For the price, this is EXACTLY what you should expect, and is easily worth the sub-$10 price. I bought another just in case. You never know when you might need it.

Bought the male 4.4mm to female 2.5mm to connect to a portable dac/amp and the adapter works perfectly! Nice construction, solid connection, with no static or audio disruption. Great value!

I like the gold plated contact surfaces, which make it very quiet electrically. It gives me another balanced cable to use that would be useless without this adapter, because I don't have any devices with a 2.5 mm balanced output. It is reasonably priced and exactly what I needed.

This is a great 4.4mm to 2.5mm balanced audio adapter. It works great and is of high quantity. I needed this to adapt my 2.5mm balanced cable of my Sennheiser HD-650 headphones to my dap. As a bonus, it came with a very nice pouch case that fits my Fiio JM21 dap perfectly. This is a great value at this price and the included case is just icing on the cake. Recommended highly!

It is well built and works well. Not too much to say beyond that. It came with a draw-string bag for some reason. For the seller: if you can remove that and offer a slightly better price that would be something.

I purchased the 4.4 mm to 2.5 mm so I could use my 2.5 mm balanced headphones with the TEAC UD-505 headphone amp that has a 4.4 mm output. Far more cost effective than buying a new set of headphone cables. Sure it is another connection in the chain but this adapter doesn’t seem to add any noise or take away any sound quality. It’s a simple cost effective solution that works just like it is supposed to.

I got this 2.5mm-to-4.4mm adapter so I could use my IEM's on my headphone amplifier which has a balanced 4.4mm jack (and a separate XLR 4-pin jack). At first it didn't work, and I simply had to push the Geekria adaptor further into the jack. I did and it started working, but the sound was off. Music sounded muffled somewhat and the bass was boomy. I took the same IEMs and inserted them into the balanced 2.5mm-to-XLR adapter and the IEMs sounded normal and fine. The only thing different was the adaptor used and the amplifier jack used. So, it's not right, but I can't tell if the issue is the Geekria adaptor or the headphone amp's 4.4mm port. This is the first time using the 4.4mm port so idk. It could be the amp for all I know. I don't have any other 4.4mm amps to test it on at the moment, so I rate this adapter questionable.
