Lattafa Al Areeq Gold Eau De Parfum Spray for Unisex, 3.4 Ounce

Areeq Silver is exactly what I hoped it would be from reading the note structure. It's a very mature leather scent with a very complex scent profile. It's very similar to Nabeel's Al Bashiq from their master perfumer's series which I also own. With that said they are different enough that owning both is worthwhile. Areeq Silver goes down the path of a biker bar type leather. Al Bashiq goes more in the direction of a formal event sort of leather. But they are not vastly different. This stuff is strong. Longevity, projection, and sillage are all way above average just like Al Bashiq. The overall vibe is a strong leather backbone with a very complex evolution over 8-10 hours. Because of that, this is not gonna be a crowd pleaser and not for everyone. It's very strong, very masculine, and you better have some thick skin and a little attitude to pull this off. If you like this type of scent, Al Areeq is an outstanding bargain. If you like Invictus bubble gum sweet stuff or you're looking for something only to draw compliments from women, this may not be your best option.

This is a very complex fragrance. Smoke, leather and some vanilla. After the smoke subsides you get old leather along with some vanilla. It's a heavy frag so if you insist on wearing it in warm weather, go light on the sprays (1-2 sprays at most). Cold weather is when this scent will shine. 8-10 hours on my skin. This is definitely one of Lattafa's best and it's no surprise it's from their Pride line.

Purchased this as a gift for my man and he absolutely loves it. Whenever he wears it out he gets plenty of compliments.

Excellent product and delivery service

I am the biggest fan of Lattafa, I have always screamed their praises from the rafters, but please believe me that this is by far the worst purchase I have ever made in my entire life. The scent from this bottle is so offensive and putrid it is not funny. There is nothing, and when I say nothing, I mean NOTHING that is appealing about Al Areeq Silver. The scent is similar to the smell of an insecticide or that of a greasy oil stained garage.

All right, so after a bit over two months of maceration, I finally have a conclusion and final thoughts. First of all, I'm glad to say that the initial repulsive gasoline and rubber-like smell that I got when I first sprayed the fragrance is gone. Maceration did a pretty decent job here. And although for the first five minutes after you spray it you still might get a bit of that synthetic, gasoline/rubber smell, it's nowhere near as bad as before. Right from the start, I get a pretty predominant leather with incense following up close, while somewhere in the back I can also smell the black tea accord, but I wouldn't blame you if you wouldn't smell tea at all. It's not very high quality smelling, no wonder, since it's a $40 or so fragrance. And it's also not really a mass appealing fragrance, as is the case with most leather fragrances. So definitely don't blind buy this. After five minutes, the fragrance settle nicely on my skin and smoothens out quite nicely, giving it sort of a soothing effect. As time passes, the vanilla note takes over, which does make it lean a bit more feminine in combination with the other notes. For the first two or so hours, it projects decently, maybe at around 2 feet of projection. But entering the 3-5 hour mark, it settles down quite substantially, becoming a skin scent which lasts me for about two days. So I would easily go with about 5 sprays here. As for the occasions where I'd wear Al Areeq Gold, it would mostly be at church or at a dressed-up event, funeral or even a wedding (quite a contrast of situations there, I know). I would mostly wear it in slightly cooler weather; I don't see myself using it in the summer. Overall, I like it, but I don't love it. It's definitely a more niche-scenario fragrance, even though quality-wise, it doesn't smell niche-level. And projection, at least on my skin, leaves to be desired. The best way I would describe Lattafa's Al Areeq Gold is as a beginner-friendly leather fragrance. This right here is the strongest fragrance in my arsenal. If you want to weaponize your collection then look no further. This one will truly rule the room with ease. Just be cautious of where and how much you spray. If you get this on your clothes you will have to wash them to get the scent out, so be careful. Besides the crazy strength, I really do like the scent. I get green apples and leather. Which sounds like a crazy combination. But somehow it works. If you get this, you now have the power. Use it wisely.

al areeq silver es la versión fresca, alquitrnada y dulce. su complemento es la versión gold que es la versión cálida, acuerada y dulce. las dos son impresionantes, pero en este caso me toca describir mi experiencia con la silver que me cautivó su desarrollo de principio a fin. la parte alta abre floral y amaderada fresca, rápido se ahúma con un tono suave por el tabaco, cuero y oud. y el final sigue interesante, la fragancia ligeramente se endulza por la mezcla de sándalo, almizcle y vainilla, pero me sorprende que aquí también lleguen las notas del cardamomo y la manzana. perfume oriental muy refinado y que podrás encontrar tal vez semejanzas en varias fragancias nicho o de líneas privadas de diseñador, pero estás dos fragancias muestran que con una composición de ingredientes "modestos" se puede estar a la altura de ingredientes muy "refinados" de la perfumería occidental. lo que es lo mismo, le queremos enseñar a hacer salsas a la abuela. por otra parte, los tiempos de entrega y la calidez del personal es de alabar, la protección de los productos sigue siendo pobre, en fin.

This is a woman's cologne. It smells super strong of vanilla which is NOT at all masculine. It does NOT smell at all like leather as described.

Er ist warm, aber nicht erdrückend, frisch, aber nicht wie ein herkömmliches "Sportparfüm". Er riecht luxuriös und einzigartig, und das zu einem unglaublichen Preis. Was mich aber am meisten fasziniert, ist, wie lange er hält. Ich sprühe ihn morgens auf, und selbst nach einem langen Tag kann ich ihn noch riechen. Auch die Sillage ist perfekt – nicht aufdringlich, aber definitiv präsent genug, um positive Komplimente zu bekommen.
