We have a family of 5, so when we go on vacation we drive our SUV. We will normally drive between 8-10 hours and we do it all in one go. My husband does the majority of the driving and he likes to drive late at night when there is less traffic, so I get quite tired. I have tried several different types of pillows and other things to prop my head so I could sleep for an hour or two. None of them really worked well, until we found this travel pillow! This is a great compact pillow, which is important because if you are in a vehicle you have limited room. It comes in a vinyl bag that seems to be waterproof with a dove and draw string on it. When you pull the memory foam pillow out of its travel bag, it instantly poofs up so there is no waiting for it to get to full size. It has a very nice material over it that you could use without the cover, but if you want to keep it nice and clean they include a protective pillow case for it. However, I do feel that they could have gone a little nicer on the pillow cover but it is still fine. This pillow is intended for use in a car where you are leaning your head over towards the window. It does a great job of not melting into the slot in between your chair and the window. This is not great for just putting behind your head and leaning straight back because it does have such strong support to it. It feels as if it is moving your head forward if you use it like a neck support pillow. This is meant to be put on the side of you to lean your head against the glass. It is very soft yet keeps your head supported at the same time. I really love this travel pillow and highly recommend it!
