Solid saw overall
To preface, I am not a professional carpenter in any way, so take this review with a grain of salt.At first I was a little hesitant to purchase this saw mainly due to the lack of reviews and information. However, I am very glad that I did and I was definitely recommend it.After using it for about three weeks or so to complete a flooring project, I’ve notice a handful of things that I dislike. The first thing that was a bit of a pain was installing the base extensions. They lined up well but the t30 torx wrench that came with it is basically useless. The bolts come with loctite on them and required much more torque to seat than the wrench could apply. T30 bit socket with an extension made it very easy. The biggest issue I have is the lack of dust collection. Granted, it’s a miter saw and they all have poor dust collection, it’s still disappointing. The bag on the rear of the saw fills up somehow but it seems like 95% of the dust goes everywhere except the bag. I tried attaching my festool dust extractor to the port on the rear, but of course I need an adapter of some sort so it didn’t work. Maybe with the correct adapter I might have better results, who knows?Another small complaint I have is the lack of a laser. Which really I don’t care much about because I always strike a full line and line it up to the blade. Some people might hate that there isn’t a laser but I don’t want to worry about having to ensure it’s accurate all the time. Now to the things that I do like about the saw. One of the best things about the saw was not only the table was flat but that the fence was really close to square, out of the box! I needed to make a few tiny adjustments to get it dead nuts, but they were very easy and quick. The stock miter detents were a little off but thanks to the manual, correcting that was fairly simple. So far I’ve only checked the 45 bevel, which were good enough both sides.Everything works as it should, so far. Cuts really well and stays true when sliding back and forth. I’ve been using 8ah procore batteries and they really last. I’ve done about 400sqft of laminate flooring with a 60t blade and have only charged it once. Even then the battery was at 3/5 bars so I probably could have stretched it but whatever. Next project I’ll pay more attention to any power drops as the battery depletes.Overall it’s a great saw for the money! It’s worked really well for this flooring project but I expect it to really shine once I start doing trim. I’m planning on rebuilding/replacing a deck in a few weeks so I’ll try to give an update once I do.Definitely recommend the saw! Especially if you already have some of the 8ah batteries!

10” Bosch Miter Saw!!
Very smooth glide system with no issues whatsoever!! I had recently bought the cordless one but replaced with this one, and so glad I did. The cordless one is lighter but super loud I had to take the blade off to make sure it wasn’t loose. But it wasn’t 🤷♂️ plus I guess I never used a cordless miter box before. I just like powerful enough tools and this one is for me!!

No service
No customer support. I purchased this saw because I needed it to rebuild after having a fire in my garage. I only used it a few times before I really needed it and It worked excellent. But then the saw wouldn't start. The light came on but not any sound or movement from the motor. About two weeks ago I sent an email asking for help but haven't heard back. I don't call that good service.

Compact, quiet, and quick
Replaced a solid, professional 12” sliding bosch saw with this one. The older saw was fantastic, but at 100+ pounds plus the stand it took a major home project to even want to set it up. And an extension cord (or two). With this saw it’s effortless, 40lbs and a battery allows me to work quickly in any corner of my yard. Cuts way better than I expected, even on true 6x6 (which does require flipping the material, but it did on the 12” too). What I dislike is no option for an extendable support, and the clamp is horrible. Still, I’ll never go back.
