You can... but that is not really what it is intended for. Definitely enough space between the handles though.

Q: Does it fit 2" sleeve?

Yes, the sleeve slides over the 2" olympic bar and can then be loaded with a good amount of weight. The other end can be used with a landmine attachment or wedged into the corner to prevent slipping. Great addition to a home gym.
