Yes, they're good for emergency blankets but I also wrap delecate machinery in them to protect against dust. They really spice up a wood shop - making it look like a NASA installation. Compared to the 10 pack, this bulk packaging saves you a lot of money. This emergency blanket is not too flimsy or too short either.

I bought these for the homeless shelter. We also pass them to people on the street along with ponchos, Kleenex, and wet wipes.

Each one I have opened so far is split in half. None are all together as a full piece. There are several tears and slips in each one so far individually

I've purchased these before from a different seller and they were noticeably thicker. Not sure why wrong color was sent...
