Multi Mouse Gun Owner Praise & And A Tip To Employ - ONE YEAR PLUS UPDATE
First the Tip - wear a high cotton sock on the leg which you have the holster secured. I was carryingwith this holster (Glock42) and loved it but felt some slight movement when wearing low ankle socks. After putting on a shin high crew sock under the holster it stopped all movement and was so secure thatI often forget I am wearing it and carrying a CW.I purchased this holster back in 2017 and had forgotten about it. I recently discovered it in my gear tubof unused or discarded holsters of dubious usefulness. Since then I have been wearing this holster daily.Mouse guns fit beautifully and securely in this holster. I find that this holster is perfect for EDC duty.Even easy to access while seated in a vehicle! S&W J Frame snubbies, G42, G43X, and Kahr CW/CT 380'sno problem. I'm sure that your own similarly sized gun will find a happy home in this holster.Be sure and try the sock thing you will be astounded how much it can improve an already great holster.1/10/23 - Still wearing this holster on an almost daily basis. All the above still applies.Often forget that I have it on and always wearing a cotton crew sock to help orient the holsteron my right leg and to keep it from shifting. Very comfortable and no rotation like it mightdo on bare skin. The holster is not showing any wear that makes it less secure. Even at that I bought a sparebecause they are a bargain at the current price. Actually I am writing this because I was on Amazonjust now giving thought to purchasing a 3rd one. For fun I think I might wear one on each ankle !!!Good idea for a 'New York' reload.Gun in the holster is a G42 and it is flat and hides well. A perfect size for this holster.A Kahr CT 380 (7 ctg. in mag.) is also a great choice and a good sized gun for larger hands.A S&W J frame (642) fits well and carries just as well but is slightly more bulky.A G43X (10 ctg. in mag) is getting close to perhaps too much gun in this holster, FOR ME.Which size/length of this holster to order I am not sure. When I measure the onethat I am using now (old one) it measures at 16" across the top which falls between the2 sizes they offer. Perhaps mine has stretched but it has always fit correctly.I am 5'10" and about 250 lbs. Got fairly large legs but not fat ankles, FYI.I think that most of the criticisms on this holster may be due to using too largeof a gun or not wearing a sock of some type under the band. The guns which I mentionabove fit very snugly into the elastic pouch. The strap is not an issue, it secures the gun well enough. If you're running for some reason it MIGHT be a concern. Otherwise, no problemo.STAY IN A CONDITION OF RELAXED AWARENESS IN ALL SITUATIONSHope this information is instructive

A minimalist, affordable, universal ankle rig
As someone who is a bit of a concealed carry gear nut, I was thoroughly impressed with this universal ankle rig. I first became aware of this holster after watching a demo video of on Youtube, and the idea that I can fit a multitude of sub-compacts in the same ankle holster and that it is also ambidextrous so you can carry on either leg thoroughly intrigued me. I recognized the owner of the company Joe Cochran in the demo video who I had seen in other videos advertising Sticky Holster products which I am a fan of, so I decided to give this ankle holster a try to see if it really lived up to what they advertised. When I first received the ankle holster I was impressed with the quality and craftsmanship. The velcro was very secure, no loose stitching on the elastic band, and the nylon holster was stretchy yet durable to accommodate different shaped and sized guns. Best of all was that the padding on the elastic band behind the holster seemed fairly comfortable, and comfort is one of the most important features in a good ankle holster.I wore this ankle holster for two and a half shifts on the job (not out in the field but in office) so I could give a more thorough review of this rig in use before posting. For me personally, this ankle holster is perfect for smaller sized mouse guns like the Ruger LCP up or an airweight snubby like a S&W J-Frame. Sub-Compact 9mm pistols like the Glock 43 felt a little bulky where you could feel the weight of the gun a bit more, and because of the open top at the bottom of the nylon holster the barrel end of the pistol began rubbing into my ankle bone which was very uncomfortable, but after adjusting the cant a bit it was fine.In conclusion, this is an excellent universal ankle rig and is perfect if you own multiple pocket sized pistols. As I said before it is extremely stable and comfortable when holding pocket .380s or snubnose revolvers, but I prefer traditional, molded, reinforced ankle holsters with the option of a calf strap when it comes to larger sub-compact 9mms for ankle carry. However, ankle carry really shines with the smaller pistols anyway and the Ultimate Ankle Holster definitely fits the Glock 43 and 26 sub-compacts as advertised, so this isn't a knock on the product. I wouldn't be opposed to carrying a Glock 43 or 26 in this holster if I didn't already own ankle rigs for those particular guns.

Well made, but advertised size of gun that fits a bit optimistic
This item is well made and quite comfortable. The calf strap helps keep this from sagging (which is a problem with the ankle holster without a calf strap from the same manufacturer, which I also bought). Of course, unless you're wearing extremely roomy slacks you'll probably have to pull them down around your ankles to put the holster on, since one strap is above calf-level, or put on the holster before dressing. Somewhat of a nuisance. My main quibble with this is that I believe the ad is a bit optimistic in terms of the size of gun that will supposedly fit. A snubbie (2" barrel) revolver does fit nicely and is easily concealable, even under blue jeans. But, for example, I have a Smith & Wesson .380, which I'd consider on the smallish side of things, and it's a real tight fit. (In the name of full disclosure there's a small laser mounted on the short Picatinny rail section under the dust cover, but still I think it's on the small side of things and fair to say that the opening for a gun is very tight, not nearly as roomy as advertised.) I could not get a compact centefire semiauto to fit and do so in such a way that I was confident it wouldn't fall out during my daily activities. There are two other issues that are not the fault of the seller/manufacturer, or this particular product. First, some guns, even if they would fit as claimed, will have the grip/butt protruding from under the fabric of any slacks that aren't extremely roomy around and above the ankle. The other issue — again, not a fault of this particular brand/product, is that reholstering a gun — any gun — is a two-handed job because the opening collapses as soon as a gun is removed. I recommend this product with the above caveats.
