Great product!!
Love the durable feeling, and how it blends in with our old wicker. I was worried if it would work, or if it was hard to repair furniture, but watch some YouTube videos, and you are set. It is easy to work with, and despite being plastic, it dosent look or feel cheap. I have bought 4 rolls now, and it has saved us so much money on outdoor furniture.

Great product
I used this to fix a large standing wicker basket that my cats use as a scratching post. The color match was almost perfect and weaving went smoothly. Basket looks new again. The cats still scratch at it but it’s holding up to them . Very happy with the results

worked as needed
I got some free furniture that needed to be repaired. This worked. I would never purchase this type of furniture as it seems to break easily.

Easy to work with!!
I was a little worried this would be a waste of time. I suck at repairs of every caliber. I was really impressed by how easy it was to use this product, it’s really flexible and doesn’t crack or break when you try to manipulate it through the weave. It is a little thicker than the wicker on my chairs (my fault for not finding one the right thickness) but it worked well enough to get my chairs through another summer not looking like garbage. The big downside is that the color is only on one side, so if you have something like a chair back to fix one side will be white.

Installation more of an art than a science. Trial and error may be/will be required.
This product will work reasonably to replace vinyl wicker. Precise color matching may be a challenge. Note that most furniture with this style wicker may/will require you to bond the new (replacement) wicker to remnants of the original wicker. This is a result of the total removal of the old wicker not being possible. Trial and error and the use of clamps to hold the wicker in place until the adhesive dries may be/will be required. You will also need to find a tensioning method in some applications for the repaired wicker.

Highly Durable Wicker Repair Kit
This black wicker repair kit worked perfectly to replace/repair a wicker shelf I purchased off Facebook marketplace that had visibly damaged wicker. I read lots of reviews on other wicker replacement material and this one had the best reviews and the best price! I like that this brand had several different color options to choose from!Repairing this style wicker will require you to use some sort of bonding adhesive to replace the new wicker and bond it to the old wicker. I read some reviews and watching some videos where people used gorilla glue or other adhesives then they used a clamp or painters tape to hold down the new wicker until it was fully adhered. The color of this wicker was exactly what I ordered and the color was uniform throughout the wicker. This replacement wicker seems to be great quality and highly durable! I would definitely recommend if you have a wicker item in need of repair!

Great repair kit for wicker.
Fixed up a really nice wicker side stand. Matched perfect and could not tell where it was repaired. Great product

Color is NOT consistent The first half was very dark brown. The second part was honey brown.
If you want inconsistent color, from a dark chocolate brown, then a honey orange with stripes, then go ahead and buy this. That’s why it’s cheap, folks. I had a repair on the tops of 2 planters and it took me 8 hours of weaving to get it done. I will NEVER do that again!!!!

worked well but watch the colour variation
There was quite a difference in colour throughout but it worked for my purpose.

Good Match for plastic wicker
The wicker on the arm of our couch became brittle from the sun. The pieces easily snapped off so I replaced them with this strapping. The colour & width was excellent. My mistake was removing the damaged pieces BEFORE I wove in the new strapping. Do not do that! It was a nightmare to weave the strapping through. Much easier to weave the new ON TOP of the old. You can the remove the brittle pieces or just leave them. A small flat head screwdriver and needle nose pliers came in handy for weaving. I used Gorilla Crazy Glue on the corners and used pieces much longer than I really needed. Used up the entire 130 feet on the arm of this chair. Let’s hope it holds up now.

Patio chair project
I liked that it was plastic & malleable to handle when I did the weave repair. The edging of the weave on my chair top edge had split due to weathering making it hard & brittle therefore broke. However it was a smudge wider than my strings. I only did vertical weave repair so there was some room to do the work. It would not have worked on horizontal weave as there would be no space to manoeuvre even with a tool. So check the width. 8 mm seems standard but mine was like 6.5 mm.The color was not a great match but good enough. I only chose/ cut the darker dyed strings in the bundle. Get a longer overall footage than your project requires. You might have to weave more area than you realized. In the end I did not remove much of the original weave but weaved over top of it. It saved me from throwing out 3 patio chairs! Not a perfect job on my part, but good enough!

Where is the kit
I only received the wicker. There was no repair kit. Description was misleading. Happy with the wicker, just thought there was a kit as well.

Great for repairing patio furniture.
We replaced the plastic wicker on 2 chairs, a lounge sofa and a table…they worked great so far..and stylish. The colour pattern is nicer than the original. Hopefully they will survive winter temperatures.
