I have ordered Date Night (and one other Weruva product) four times since October 2023 and instead of sending me that they sent me Devour Me (and another wrong product) which is duck & tuna. And is mislabeled. And we all know that cats are not fussy or anything. I foolishly ordered it again in Jan 2024 thinking that they would’ve solved the problem since October. But they haven’t. And there’s no option to resolve the problem. You can’t do it online. Because when you select the product it says I’m sorry you can’t return the product. There’s no option for it being the wrong product. When you call, if you pick the product, Amazon’s automated system hangs up on you when you try to say what’s wrong. I have gotten through to them by essentially saying it is some other problem. But if it’s damaged or the wrong item there really is no option. And you can’t just say customer Service anymore. I literally dread having to call them again. But I also resent having to pay for something that is what I ordered. The second time this happened they actually asked me to return it. To take my time to send it back to them even though it was their mistake which I thought was quite a lot of nerve. And I had to insist on talking to a supervisor. So all I can say is, the product itself date night is great. But don’t order it here because you won’t get it. At least not as of January 2024. I won’t order any weruva products from Amazon again. I love Weruva products because they don’t have wheat, corn or other unhealthy fillers. And Date Night (Duck and Salmon) has healthy fats and omega 3s plus liquid for hydration which is crucial. Ultimately, I think paying more in healthy food results in paying less at the vet. (And in longer lives.) When I had my first two cats I didn’t know much about cat nutrition, unfortunately. Or how crucial it was that they get enough hydration. . And I started them on fancy feast which has wheat gluten. (Plus Taste of the Wild dry food ) By the time I realized that was FF was not ideal, I could not get them to eat most healthy brands.i did find some they’d eat. But they would not TOUCH the packets like Date Night with a 10 foot pole. And I admit it looked gross to me, and that probably didn’t help. But they were older, and set in their ways. After they passed away, I got Dinah at 11 months old and I started her on wheat free brands right away. And skipped treats except freeze dried chicken or fish and Chury packets. So she doesn’t have a taste for wheat and grain. Didn’t know if she would like these packets. But decided to try. And I learned a very important lesson. New foods are daunting. Sometimes cats will just walk away because it’s new, strange. They won’t even smell it. So I don’t just put a new food in front of her. I put some on my finger and let her taste it like it’s a lickable treat. Sometimes she likes it, sometimes not. But I’m convinced that if I didn’t do this, she would walk away from some of these things that she does like without trying them. So if she has liked it on my finger, I put it in a bowl in front of her. And now she has smelled it and it’s a little familiar. And she’s more likely to really try it. I’ve also found that she will eat a little bit of a new food and that’s it, but then the next time she’ll eat a little more. So I’ll give her the new food and in a separate bowl I’ll give her something else. I did that with Date Night. At first she would just lick a small amount of it. But now it’s one of her faves and she actually licks the bowl clean. I didn’t let her see my face being excited that she was eating it. I have to act kind of chill or she gets suspicious lol (on the inside, it’s, YES!! YES!!! A new HEALTHY food to add to the repertoire!!!!) because of course in addition to being fussy she also gets bored easily! But if I could give anybody a piece of advice it would be let your cat taste a new food on your finger before you put it in front of her. If he or she doesn’t like it then, then perhaps they won’t like it, although that’s not definite. But if they do like it on your finger, then they’ll probably get to like it. SO, after a little work, Dinah LOVES Date Night. That’s really the only flavor she loves. She also will have Chicken and Tuna Seeya Sooner once in a while. I have done this with many foods. And one by one added some foods to the rotation. Good luck to my fellow cat lovers!

My cat is about 13 years old and has always been a fussy eater (I know, what cat isn't?). I've tried many foods for her and as long as they have tuna she will eat them for a while and then turn her nose up at them after a while. Anything non-tuna was a no go. I've NEVER seen her react to a food or eat it with such enthusiasm before. She RUNS down the stairs with me when she knows I am getting it for her and then eats it with obvious pleasure. I give it to her 3 times a day in smaller portions as otherwise she will gobble it all up and then throws it up. She has always thrown up a lot, sometimes with furballs and sometimes just food. She still throws up furballs occasionally (with no food) but nothing like before. This has helped so much with that. One of the frustrating things about cat food these days is they seem to be formulas and recipes that appeal to their owners, not necessarily their cats. That being said, I would have never guessed that tuna and lamb (of all things) would be such a winner with her but you know, cats. She also ate the other tuna based recipes (salmon and chicken) but not with the enthusiasm of the tuna and lamb. She's always been on the lighter side weight wise (my sister called her the ballerina) but now she is more of a healthy weight though I may have to start watching that so she doesn't gain too much. I'm just amazed at how much she loves this food!
