This is a magnificent notebook for everything except dedicated gaming
The Zenbook 16X is frankly a masterpiece: its powerful, beautiful, ergonomic, and has a STUNNING 4K+ display. It's such a huge improvement over my Microsoft Surface 5 and Macbook Air I can't overstate it. The other thing about it is that it runs extremely cool and quiet even with demanding memory/GPU tasks like 3D modeling. Kudos to ASUS on that. Wasn't sure I would like that tip up keyboard but its turned out to be one of my favorite features. The configurable backlit keyboard is excellent, and did I mention that the better-than-4K display is STUNNING? The Pantone color accuracy, vibrance, clarity, and perfect blacks are simply AMAZING. The display is really, really, really good especially combined with the nVidia RTX 3060 GPU. You really can't look away and you will not be disappointed. The media spin wheel and the number pad that can be selectively activated on the track pad are interesting features that I personally don't use much but which in no way detract from the rest of the user experience. I can see the number pad being very useful for someone working in spreadsheets or an accounting system all day and the media wheel being useful for video editing. But neither are my personal use case.If I had any complaints about this notebook, it's that, 1. I don't think ASUS should make it a requirement to register the product to use the MyASUS app and thus the backlighting custom configuration. The MyASUS app is VERY good and provides a lot of hardware configuration and customization to get the most out of the product, but having to register to use it is pointless from a consumer standpoint. 2. it would have been great to have one or two more USB-C ports - like one on the back and one on the right. There are only two on the left. It's not a big deal since I have this plugged into a dock when it's at my desk, but it's definitely something to keep in mind especially if you are planning on plugging in a lot of accessories.I'm extremely happy with this purchase and think the price point was very good.

This is easily the nicest laptop I've ever owned!
I can't say enough amazing things about this laptop! The dual screens are amazing, and moving things around on them is much smoother than I expected! It feels so sturdy, and the keyboard has a great touch! I was pleasantly surprised to learn that my order included an Asus backpack, a palm rest, and a stylus too! I will be spending a LOT of time on my new baby! :)

Dream-come-true laptop.
EDIT: Not even after 1 year of use, the fans are buggy and won't stop running at full speed no matter what I do. I got it in the US but live abroad. Customer Support US told me I had global warranty TWICE. Yet the Support centre in Argentina tells me I am not covered by them. It's the first time in my life I even HAVE to contact Support on a laptop or had a hardware problem at all. I've owned Toshiba, HP, Lenovo, Samsung, etc with absolutely no issues. This is the most expensive laptop I ever purchased and I can't even get Support for it. I'm never buying Asus again.----‐-----This is the most beautiful ever. It's been running smooth as butter. I find the touchpad to the side really comfortable and intuitive to use. My girlfriend tried it and thinks so as well. She let out a small gasp when I showed her it turned into a numeric keyboard (really useful btw). When I use a regular laptop now I find it really uncomfortable that the touchpad is centered, makes my wrist hurt lolA lot of people misunderstand the "4K screen" description: for this model, it applies only to the smaller screen. They are both BEAUTIFUL OLED though. At first I was very disappointed the main screen wasn't 4K too, but honestly I would have just set it back to 1080p to save on battery because it looks splendid. I thought not having 4K would be a problem in the long run, because I expect this laptop to last me more than a couple of years, but honestly the screen is perfect. My BIG complaint about this machine it's the PORT POSITIONS. Why the hell would you put two USB C ports next to each other (instead of one on each side) and have them right where your mouse would be???I find it VERY annoying and impractical. Whatever I plug in it's always getting on my way. I bought an L-shaped USB-C extender to be able to plug in a hub towards the BACK of the laptop, not on the right front where I use my mouse -_- Honestly, it's just dumb design on an otherwise cutting-edge piece of tech. The fans blow to the sides and it gets very hot so it pretty much cooks your hand when you use a mouse. The second screen is a life changer. I was considering buying an external portable monitor but I don't feel the need now, I'm set. The pen works very well (obviously not as good as EMR, it's N-trig) and the keyboard is *chef's kiss*. The webcam is a bit meh, to be honest. Sound is really good.I've been using it for 4 months now and I"m VERY happy with my purchase. I finally have decent Unity load times... thank you Asus.

the number pad in th touch screen does not respond as needed.
The speed is good. The presentation is fantastic.

Has a little learning curve but awesome laptop!
I bought this laptop for the second screen coupled with above average specs and I am so happy with my purchase! The second screen is exactly what I hoped for and makes it much easier to multitask on a project or keep my music/news apps handy. Really enjoying the ability to doodle on the flip up screen during zoom calls and the overall sound and picture quality.

Hard drive malfunctioned after 1 year
Bought this when it was around $2k at highest specs I think? Um... so one year later, the hard drive malfunctioned. Using it for my new job... and that just happened. All files gone. My mac lasted like 8+ years and only needed battery replacements. Other than that it was great and all... but I don't think I can trust this brand with this happening after one year.

THIS IS FANTASTIC PC
Its great. it's not a mobility laptop, it's a desktop replacement. 2 displays are EPIC ideas and are engineered superbly. Also touchpad or a right side for me as a right-hander is a huge plus in productivity and I didn't even realize how much better idea it is that touchpad mid.
