Fits my 100 ft hose well. Rolls up nicely. Product container is a good quality. Whenever I use the hose , I just use the handle and roll it up. So much better than trying to wrap a hose around a hose stand.

Can this hose reel store of 100ft of hose ...it really depends on the type of hose. I have a stiff heavy duty 100ft hose and it only fit is because I had previously cut off around 20ft. Even with the 20ft missing, and to get the hose to properly fit, I had to carefully wind it ensuring each twist would line up next to the last. It barely fit. So a 50ft hose no prob. A 75ft hose may be tight. A 100ft hose, ...if it's a softer/flexible hose, maybe. Aside from that, it seems to function properly and retracting the hose back into the container is relatively of easy, for a heavy duty hose that is. It came fully assembled, but is smaller than I imagined and since everything is made out of plastic, only time will tell if it holds up.

A couple of things to keep in mind: this isn’t a heavy-duty reel for commercial use—it’s really designed for standard residential hoses up to 5/8” x 100 ft. Also, the winding is manual, so while smooth, you’ll still need to guide the hose a bit as you crank to avoid uneven buildup inside. Placement matters too—it works best on a flat, stable surface so the box doesn’t shift around when you’re reeling in. Bottom line: A solid and attractive way to keep your hose stored neatly. It’s easy to use, keeps the yard looking tidy, and is well-suited for everyday home gardening needs.

DO NOT BUY. Horrible product and even worse customer service. I purchased two of these based on “Amazon’s Choice”. I opened one box. The product is very poorly and cheaply made, plastic snapping together. I cut the zip tie that holds the connector hose and connected the connector to the storage box. The product is too lite and cheaply made to hold a hose once I tried to put about 5 feet of hose in it. I disconnected my hose from the reel and re-packaged the same way, in the same box. I requested a return and refund. I received a response today that I’m only receiving a partial refund of both. They state the products show signs of use and the plastic separated. I explained that is how it arrived (separated) which is why I’m returning it and also explained the steps I took to try and see if it would hold a hose and didn’t get 5 feet in it. And, that it was never connected to anything other than the connector which I shared I cut the zip tie to try to connect it. The SECOND of the boxes was never opened, yet they state the second product also has the plastic separated. If anything this confirms the poor quality and cheaply made items once I never opened it. Despite multiple explanations of this, they are only issuing 1/2 refund of both. I’ve always had great luck with sellers on Amazon but this one is unreasonable and doesn’t acknowledge poor quality of their product and has terrible customer service. I’d normally overlook these things but not for this company.

Not sturdy. It holds the hose and it rolls it up, but the cranking is not smooth. The whole front is open, so the hose doesn't automatically reel in across and back like expected. I would have to manually hold the dirty, wet hose in my hand and let it slide through the 100', maneuvering it back and forth. I bought this one because it said it holds a 100' hose - well just barely, but the lid doesn't quite close. Additionally, the box feels wobbly and it's hard to crank because everything is cheap plastic and you need 2 hands. The lid closes crooked and I had to push it to the side to get it to close. Mind you that is with the hose not all the way in because it doesn't close with the whole hose in. Very disappointed. I thought if I spent 50 bucks, I'd get something sturdy. This feels like a $29 box. If you have one of those shrinking hoses, then it will hold 100'; otherwise, I wouldn't use it for more than 75'. I will probably return this because I will be frustrated every time I use it.

Bought this for two reasons. First to store hose neatly. Secondly to keep water from freezing in the hose. It works great for both. Only had it a month but it's holding up well. At this time I can recommend this Suncast garden hose reel hideaway.

Have had this for almost 2 years it hasn't hardly faded and it sits mostly in the sun. Great product!

The hose reel is functional, but not very sturdy when free-standing. It comes with a pretty long supply hose (maybe 6 feet long). It's very light and does require some kind of anchoring to the ground, or maybe to a patio block. For now, I have mine setting on a patio block and that keeps it somewhat steady as you unreel some hose. There are times when I need to unreel almost all 100 feet of the hose when I'm doing pressure washing of the sidewalk 75 feet away in my front yard. In that case the whole hose reel can be lifted up and pulled away from the wall, turned 90 degrees, turned on it's back with the cover flat on the ground, and then I can pull the hose straight out from it without it flopping over. So it does the job I bought it for, but because it has no bottom, it makes it hard to mount it to anything to anchor it down.

The hose box is very small and does it hold the advertised length of hose. It can’t store 30’ of 5/8” hose let alone the advertised 100’. When a refund was requested (twice) no response from the seller was provided.

Sturdy container for 100 ft length hose. The hose gets tangled in the reel and sometimes difficult to pull out.
