Charming Landscapes: Make-a-Masterpiece Adult Grayscale Coloring Book with Color Guides

Nice greyscale coloring book. I've used colored pencils and pastel pencils so far and both work nicely. Each scene has a reference picture and two small "test" pictures, which is nice. For those complaining that colored pencils don't work for this coloring book, please be aware that some pencils work better than others. I have tried a variety of brands and there are some that work very well. This is one of my favorite coloring books and I look forward to getting more by this author.

These adult grayscale coloring books are very good. I hadn't heard of them myself, but now that I have one in use I find it easy to use, with pleasing results.

For me the most important element is that the book has a picture already colored so I know what to do with the real one to be colored in.

Not sure what others do to get bright colors to show on this product...The color samples look like they were done in oils, not pencils

The pictures were beautiful and easy to color because of the quality of the paper. I gave it only 3 stars because it is boring. After a couple of pages, there is hardly enough difference in the landscapes to make it worth doing. They all look too much alike. Even with my own personal choice of colors there is no challenge.

I've already completed this book, and this was my 2nd buy. I love the greyscale, pictures, guides, and paper.

Greyscale colouring is a great alternative to 'normal' colouring. Because of the grey shading using one colour crayon looks as if many shades have been used. So easy to create stunning masterpieces. I like that the book has coloured in pictures so that the user can copy them. I will be ordering the other two colouring books in this series.
