Sugar free ice cream at last!
I can now have ice cream without worrying about the sugar content. Not quite as tasty as the commercial brands and tends to set very hard, but worth it for the saving in sugar content.

Far too sweet!
I so wanted this to be good! Like some other reviewers, I’m pre-diabetic so following a low-carb diet. I love ice cream and thought this sounded ideal but it is far too sweet, has a very weird artificial aftertaste and a gummy texture. It is simple to make, although at around £9 a litre it’s expensive. I’ve tried several packets - first made ‘as is’ vanilla and then tried to counteract the excess sweetness with sharp fruit flavours (freeze dried passion fruit or raspberry powder plus some citric acid) or bitter (espresso coffee powder) but nothing worked…Glad some people like it - but can’t believe descriptions of ‘delicious’ or ‘ just like regular ice cream’ as it’s not, in either taste or texture…. Disappointing

Alright for the money
It made my tummy funny. Had to go several times to the toilet...but it was tasty nevertheless. Will order again but since I know now will be more prepared

Nasty
I thought that I would try this product mainly because its sugar free. but after tasting it I have to admit that it is bloody awful, I tried one portion and placed the rest in the kitchen sink to get washed away down the drain, it was that bad. and that was the best place for it. You can make up your own minds because this is only my opinion.

Great quality no sugar ice cream
Not as good as the sugared variety but still enjoyable. I have also tried the sugared one with vanilla which is on a different level! But this isn't bad for a no sugar ice cream and the quality of the ingredients is obvious.

It works best with whole milk
The vanilla flavour is good without being overpowering making it perfect for my favourite pistachio recipe. This is the third time I’ve bought solice and I noticed that using whole milk makes it much creamier compared to skimmed. The preparation is simple even my husband who struggles in the kitchen could whip this up. The key is to whip second time once it is semi frozen which for me was after a long time in the freezer.
