I purchased this pressure cuff to help administer subq fluids to my kitty with kidney disease. When I say that it has been a game changer, I mean it! Before getting it, fluid sessions were very slow for both of us, and she just doesn't like to sit for that long! With the bag, the fluids flow much more easily, which has cut the time that my cat has to sit still by about eighty percent! I've been using the bag every day for a few months, and the bag itself is sturdy. It has held up well to daily use with no leaks, tears or wear. And it still gives consistent pressure, which makes the whole process a lot more efficient! I will note that my cat, who is not a fan of the process, managed to chew through the hanging loop in protest after a session when I wasn't looking one day. The joke's on her though, because it hasn't slowed us down! I just hold the bag up for a couple of minutes and we're done. If you're a pet owner having to deal with daily fluid administration, I highly recommend this! It made a tough routine significantly easier. Also, a pro tip is to warm the fluids a little bit so they don't sting going in! Especially when using this pressure bag!

If you have to administer sub q fluids to your pet, this pressure set up will make your job much, much easier! Incredibly easy to use, makes our weekly sub q fluid delivery much easier on our tiny dog (kidney failure) and on us!!!

This works great for squeezing the fluids out of my cats fluid bag during his daily treatments. I love that it has a hook to hold the bag in place as well as a loop at the top to hang on like a cabinet knob while you’re squeezing the plunger to add air. It has saved my hand so much pain from my carpel tunnel and trigger thumb. I’m so glad my vet recommended it to me!

You pump it up to push fluids quickly. One pressure for the most part. If you need to use a whole bag of fluids , fine. If you need to administer part of a bag, it’s difficult to determine how much fluid has gone in. You have to deflate it, then look at what’s left in the bag after it settles. Either too much or have to start again. Difficult if you are trying to keep the needle in while deflating and checking level and starting/ stopping again

I have an IV busy and sometimes the bags just need a little extra help! This was inexpensive and speeds up my time!
