If you have two lights you MUST do this to work
I had to back porch lights and once I put these in I noted that niether worked. I went through everything and I found that if both of them were set to the same distance setting they refused to turn on. I adjusted one for long distance motion sensing and another very close. That worked

Motion sensor with night light
Great motion sensor a plus with a low level led night light . It’s like having a dual stage light .

Neither unit worked but for 2 different reasons
Was looking specifically for the features of this product to help deal with the neighborhood kids cutting through yards at night while not having to rely on old fashioned dawn/dusk lights. The concept was good, but the implementation was mixed. I had put one in each of the lamps on the front of my garage & waited for nightfall... when the smart setting on each turned on the internal night as the sun set, I thought this fit my needs so I placed another order only to cancel it because of... problems...It wasn’t until I was able to test the settings that I found both of my units were flawed but in different ways. One unit was set to the maximum range of 26.7ft yet couldn’t detect motion much beyond the minimum rage of 6.6ft. When I set it to the minimum range, I had to physically tap on the glass of the lamp’s housing to get it to turn on. The other was dead on with the range of detection. However, once it turned on, it was hit or miss for it to turn off. So I tried a couple experiments with it. Since in detected at maximum range, I set it as such with a 5 second shut off on the light. After I turned it on, I ran about 40 feet before it finished the start up sequence. Then I walked towards it & right near 25 ft it kicked on so I moved back about 10 ft & waited 5 seconds for the light to turn off... nothing. Waited a minute... nothing. Ended up going into the house to watch it (Ohio is still a bit nippy tonight). 10 minutes goes by, then 20, then 30, it finally turned itself off just about 40 minutes later. Again, I had it set for 5 seconds - not 40 minutes. So, I packed everything in the shipping box, removed all the labels, & filed for a return with Amazon. I’ll be getting the return label I requested to be mailed to me for the box to go back via UPS. I’ll just go the route of getting an electrician friend to install a new motion sensor light on the house pointing into the backyard. It’s more expensive than these are, but at least I know it’ll work.

I like the moonlight option.
These work pretty well. You should make note of the default setting when you get them and leave them on default setting for a day or so to see how they work. Make changes and test. It make take a few trial and errors before you get what you are looking for functionality out of these devices. I like them overall.

1 out of 2 working after 1 week
Second unit started not detecting motion unless I wave my hand a couple inches away. Then the light never shuts off., have tried multiple settings and even tried a non LED bulb and continued to get the same results.

They Do Not Last Long
(2020) I bought two for front door porch. One would stay on and the other did not come on. I was fully aware how to change the settings on the adapters(s). I Contacted customer service several times and thru trial and error , they worked fine for three years (2023) ! Now they stay ON all the time night and day. So I threw the eSenlite adapters out and switched to: AmeriTop Motion Sensor Light Bulbs- they only stay on 30 seconds and have six foot range but that is all I need to see door keyhole and clearly see who is at the door with my RING Video Door Bell.

As advertised but..
Settings are easy to understand and change. In our partially open porch light fixture with opaque glass this apparently creates reflective light that causes the switch to think it is daylight so shuts off completely and very briefly every 30 seconds or so. This issue doesn’t surprise me but that cycle time to check for daylight is preprogrammed and far too frequent. Every 5-10 minutes would be much better and still suffice. The blinking light may bother some customers

Works through glass
Nice to have an option that fits within existing wall fixture through its glass; not needing rewiring and mounting a separate eye. It does extend the position of the bulb. Some brands of LED bulbs have wider shoulders and don’t fit into socket to make contact; just swapped bulb to one that fit fine.

Reliability is not always 100%
I ordered a 2-pack of eSenlites and only 1 of the eSenlites is performing correctly per the illustrated setting instructions. I will see how well they perform over time.

Good Value
The 2-pack makes it a good value. Radar detection more accurate than PIR detection units that I purchased in the past. Dip switches allows flexible customizations. I'm using one in a hallway, and the other outside to light up the driveway.
